Great fun teaching handstand, gymnastics and acro tonight @cloudaerialarts. Time always flies because we have such a wonderful bunch of students. Here's a variation on the split leg handstand work we did today in class. If you need help improving your handstand we have classes Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and we also offer one to one sessions
🎉Progress Report🎉 Guuuyyyysssss, @elliemaymarshall has been a rockstar these last few weeks!! Here’s her awesome oversplit progress 😍 When she came to SF she already nice leg flexibility, but she need more work getting square and engaging the correct muscles to make the splits more active. Now, after just a few weeks of training with me, she’s already WAY stronger and is winning the oversplit game!! 💛 Great work, Ellie!! 👏👏👏 DISCLAIMER: this amount of progress in this little time is not normal, or a realistic goal for everyone. This is one of my favorite drills to work on with students who ask for help with shoulder and back flexibility! The ‘awkward spot’ transition in the shoulders helps to open the student’s chest and upper back, while training an active flexibility application for the hips and low back.
