Have you ever decorated a gingerbread house?
The baking and construction part is a little intense for me but the decorating is the part that I adore! I love coating it in all types of lollies 🍭🍬 I’ve never seen one with a combi like this before though! How awesome is it!

Creating a countdown with hand stitched numbers guarantees your calendar will be an heirloom that will last generations!
Raise you hand if your grandmother/mother’s vintage advent calendar has missing numbers due the sticky felt numbers used? I know my sweet grandmothers is missing quite a few.
I consistently get comments from customers saying stitching the numbers is their favorite part! It truly is relaxing and therapeutic, which is just a bonus.
Pro Tip: If you’re not into creating your Christmas (or Halloween) project in the spring try stitching just the numbers so you are ahead of the game come fall.

Recycled Igloo Craft 🐧🐧
I just had to share this igloo made by Miss 5 for the #recycling earlylearning101 challenge this week. We used recycled objects we found around the house. A big box for the base. A little box for the igloo and a cardboard roll for the entrance. We cut up an egg carton to make the little penguins👀 Miss 5 enjoyed covering her igloo in cotton wool to represent fluffy snow ☃❄🐧 She also made some Christmas trees with iceblock sticks and card 🎄😄
