When you get a routine blood panel back and everything went down! I’ve lowered my cholesterol, my LDL, HDL, triglycerides, and my cardiac risk. Let me tell you folks, if that isn’t worth it I don’t know what is. 🙌🏼 This makes every early morning and healthy meal even more worth it!
👿Momma said Diet soda is the devil!
Diet soda gets a bad rap from its main ingredient: artificial sweeteners.
Now, I’m not saying you should drink a metric fuck ton of diet soda - but you shouldn’t be afraid of consuming it.
Studies done on the consumption of diet soda and artificial sweeteners have inconsistent data and nothing to date is solid enough evidence to show that either *causes* adverse health effects.
However, what we do know to be true, is overconsumption of calories leads to obesity and metabolic diseases.
So if you’re someone who is concerned with fat loss and you enjoy having soda from time to time, swapping to diet soda is great option to help save you calories!
If you’re someone concerned about long term health and not so much about fat loss, having diet soda in moderation would be a good idea.
Bottom line: it’s not bad in moderation and when used to spare calories. You should still drink primarily water, unsweetened tea and black coffee. But ultimately, whatever you’ll adhere to is the best approach.
Me? I’ll be drinking an ice cold diet beverage with some popcorn this weekend watching the new @avengers movie!
Hope this was helpful and helps relieve some anxiety about diet soda.
Comment below “YES” if you’re going to watch @avengers this weekend!
Are your cleaning products safe? We assume they are, but in fact, many popular household cleaners are dangerously toxic to our bodies. By entering through inhalation or skin penetration the chemicals are absorbed into the bloodstream and carried throughout the body. They can then be stored in your fat or bone for many years. This may then lead to all sorts of health problems.
When detoxing my cleaning products I tried out numerous “green” and “natural” product lines and still found all of them to be irritating to the respiratory system. So I made my own cleaners with vinegar, baking soda, and essential oils. Worked great, but my house smelled like pickles. That was until I discovered OnGuard cleaner concentrate. Now I use that for pretty much all my cleaning. Smells good enough to eat. I just dilute with water to the desired level of concentration in a glass spray bottle. Love the fact that this is significantly reducing the amount of waste the cleaning product containers produce.
Detox your cleaning by:
🌿making your own or choosing safe cleaners without chemicals 🌿opt for concentrated formulas and use a reusable bottle
Message me if you would like a more information on how you can get nontoxic products for your family and home.
#wellnesswednesday friends!!! Take a look at Jerrica's story!!! 💗
"8 months ago I started my journey with [these supplements]! I used to crave soda and sweets like crazy during and after my #pregnancy with my son. Sometimes it would be so bad I’d make my husband go out late at night to the gas station up the road to get me some since we tried not to keep them in the house so that I’d not be tempted. I was always tired, even on days I didn’t do much, I would get constant nausea spells and crazy bloating and [feel very uncomfortable] in my stomach. My weight would not budge and [what I was taking] had to be upped twice to get my levels normal. .
After about a year of being skeptical of the supplements that I saw help so many I decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad I took a chance! They have helped me so much. I haven’t had a soda in 8 mos, sweets are easier to say no to, don’t get me wrong I still have some every once in a while only because I want it not crave it. My stomach problems have improved tremendously and I have more energy than I’ve had in a long time. I exercise 5-6 days a week now! I'm a better #mommy to my two sweet babies and feel amazing!!"

Ok, I’ve been teasing you all about a new program I’m learning about. If I put together an information group from my FB page, would you like an invitation?
This is special for people who have injuries, or pain somewhere on their body, don’t really like to workout or would like to lose some weight and then start a workout program.
This is also for people like me who loves to workout but struggles with eating as well as I could and should.
This program is much more than a nutrition plan.
It’s about re-programming your relationship with food.
There is a ton of info I’d love to share but I’ll do it in the private group instead of here.
Would you be interested in hearing more? Comment below.
Feel free to share with anyone looking to change their eating habits once and for all!
The AHA recommends eating fish 🐠 especially fatty fish, 2-3 times per week .
Salmon is one of the healthiest among fatty fish 🐟 as it’s Low in mecury and saturated fat and rich in EPA and DHA (forms of omega 3 fatty acids) 🙌🏼 3 oz serving; around 90g provide around 1.1-1.9 g total omega 3😍
Omega 3 has been proved to be heart ♥️ healthy among which it slows the growth of plaque in arteries and decreases triglyceride levels 🤝👏🏼
Salmon is one of my favorite plates when eating out😍Are you a fish lover ? Do you usually include it in your diet? 🤗🐠
Finished a 3 mile run just to prove that I can still do it 💪🙌😼 •
Things I love about going for a run: Experiencing muscle memory take over 🏃♀️ Actually feeling good about mile 1.5 🏃♀️ Listening to music I only listen to when running 🏃♀️
Brewing kombucha, the art and unique touch every brewer gives this liquid gold, always fascinates me. Looking forward to the day when I can get back into this art form and challenge my fermenting abilities!
Keep your eye out for a HOW TO brew kombucha on my blog in the weeks to come

Cooking up healthy foods that everyone can enjoy no matter their food preferences is a joy! I try and stay as low carb as possible, keep dairy to a minimum, keep my sugars natural (fruits, maple syrup) and focus on foods that give me the nutrients my body craves.
What’s your preferred way of eating? (Paleo, vegan, vegetarian, Keto??) Maybe a mix of all these! I’d love to know more about YOU!
Staring at my breakfast plate this morning and reflecting. If you had told me a year ago I’d be eating cooked chicken and spinach for breakfast I would have said, “No way!”😯 (I was an eggs and toast girl.) Enter Hashimotos and my gut healing journey. A year ago I said NO MORE to feeling tired and exhausted all the time and doing things that damage my gut, my thyroid and my overall health. I chose to learn more about gut healing. I slowly cut out gluten, dairy, soy, and have tried really hard to limit processed sugar. 😉
You guys. It was hard! I miss pizza. 🍕But...do I miss how awful bread and cheese make me feel? No way!! Do I miss ice cream? 🍨Absolutely! But...I do not miss feeling sluggish and bloated!! Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels! Every day I have to make that choice.
And while I cut OUT what made me feel bad, I began to put IN what made me feel great!! 🙌 That’s a CHOICE too. The diet changes I made certainly helped some, but I was still tired and had other health struggles. I am so thankful that adding fabulous plant based supplements to my daily routine has helped me in a way that just changing my diet alone could not do.
They say that whatever you are putting in your body is either healing or hurting you. You get to CHOOSE. Healing? Or hurting? I choose healing. I choose healthy. I can help you choose that too! #thankful#guthealing#healyourgut#feelbetter#plantbasedsupplements#lovemypinkdrink#choices#choosehealthy#choosehealing#bibletime#homeschooltable#improveyourhealth#sahm#homeschoolmom#thyroidhealth#hashimotos
Breakfast of champions! Getting veggies in at breakfast is a huge struggle for me. I much prefer my home made coconut yogurt with fruit or a paleo waffle, but when your trying to get the quota of veggies in each day, ya gotta take drastic measures and change how you think and feel about food.
Isn’t the the biggest change we have to make on our health journeys? Changing the way we think about food. For most of my life I’d eaten what sounded good or what I was in the “mood” for rather than CHOOSING what I knew was nutritious and good for me. Once I realized that delicious AND nutritious can and do go together, I began experimenting with foods in order to make them more breakfasty. Honestly, I think that’s one of the perks about brunching, combing the sweetness of morning with the savoriness of lunch.
So! What are the CHOICES your going to make with food today? I choose HEALTHY!
Fiber makes you feel full preventing overeating, reduces your risk for colon cancer, and keeps you regular. Not all fiber are the same.
Arbonne’s fiber gives you 48% of your daily fiber while the other only gives you 12%. Arbonne’s 1st ingredient is their all natural fruit/vegetable fiber blend. The other brand’s is table sugar AND it has yellow #6 , a known toxin linked to cancer, hyperactivity, ADHD and allergic reactions. What fiber are you using and do you need to make a change?
Why do I take so many before and after pictures?
Because there’s more than one way to see change as I move through different workout programs and try various eating/nutrition plans. 😘
Today we started a new 8-week Pilates/Yoga fusion program and I wanted to get my baseline “before picture.” 😊
I can still see the progress I made after finishing the intense 80 days of workouts and following a timed nutrition approach to fueling my body. 💪🏼 That said, after splurging some on our family vacation last week in Mexico, I am not quite where I was before we left. 🌴
Such is life. 🌤
Fitness and healthy eating is a journey. 🛣
And I always feel excited and optimistic at the beginning of a new stage of mine. 😆
I am continuing to follow a version of the timed nutrition/eating plan from the program we just finished, until next week when a new “nutrition only” program is coming out that I can’t wait to try. 💚
The program is focused on how our mindset impacts our eating. 💡
Having struggled with emotional eating throughout my life, I know this could be a game changer for me, as I’ve heard it has already been for those lucky enough to be in the “test group,” who got to try it before anyone else. 😍
Some of my clients and the coaches on our team will be doing this new mindful eating program together in a private accountability group. If it sounds like something you might be interested in, please comment or message me so we can figure out if it’s a good fit for you. ⬇️ One of the many unique things about about this new mindful eating program is that you don’t have to exercise while following it. ✌🏼 For this one, working is considered “extra credit.” 😅
Would love to hear from you/for you to join us. 💗
