So this happened because @danielgoh wanted a chirashi don before he flew off. Aburi salmon, surf clam (akagai) sashimi, avocado and cucumber over Iwate Akitakomachi rice. Also because I was trying to get rid of the dying avocadoes and cucumber. My cooking style is driven by clearing out soon to be spoiled foods from the fridge.

😋 Worth trying: Sanshoku Don [$15.00]
🖒🏻 Good for: My Favourite japanese restaurant
Was lucky they had the Sanshoku Don special. A trio of very well executed dons. From left to right. Salmon aburi was delicate, smoky and yet in no way competing with the freshness of the fish. Negitoro was fatty, creamy and pure joy to scoop it all into the mouth. Their bara chirashi needless to say has, and always will be top on my list. Perfectly seasoned, tasty without stealing away the taste of the individual seafood. Their choice mix of seafood lets you get a variety of textures, making it a new sensation with each bite.
If you happen to see the Sanshoku don on special, please order it. Alternatively, their famed Bara Chirashi will also not disappoint you either. 📌

Recently open at 150 South Bridge Rd, Fook Hai building #01 -14 - Ikura Japanese (Fook Hai) outlet. They served affordable Set Lunches for only $9.90! Choose your choice of Main, Side and a Hot/Cold Green Tea! We ordered Chirashi Don with Miso Soup (additional $5). A full vibrant bowl of fresh sashimi, tuna and white fish, tamago, cucumber, topped with tons of salmon roe! All ingredients were cut in cubes for easy bite-size. I think they are pretty generous with their serving, even though it’s a set lunch. Fried Ebi(2pcs) were yummy too! They are freshly deep fried and it’s crispy, a perfect side for the Chirashi Don! *Tummy rubs* 👍🏼😋 They are also listed on Entertainer SG, 1 for 1 Mains but excluding these lunch sets! @entertainersg @ikura_sg #ikurajapanese#ikurajapaneserestaurant#ikura#chirashidon#chirashi#entertainersg#entertainer
