When your brother @daniel_y_noemi shows off his crow into handstand and then you have to show him you can do it too but with a handstand push up! Haha I got mad excited about the handstand push up! Sorry for the mess in my living room ☺️
Today I stumbled upon the Museum of Art in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. And of course I had to go. It is a massive building in Tianfu Square. Four super tall floors. Entry is free!?! You have to show your ID first and go through security. Understanable. So I went in. There were only a few big rooms open, 5 in total actually. And many interesting works, a wide variety of styles, from traditional to abstract, contemporary and mixed. I mean there was an almost abstract painting on a traditional Chinese paper and ink piece.
I fell in love with two large paintings, both in the room holding the second exhibition of works from young artists (I presumed in the region). Everything was in Chinese, no translations. My first favorite painting is by Hu Zhipeng and my non expert translation of the title with the help of the internet is "A person's eternal history of madness". Wow, just wow. I believe it is an oil painting based on the details but from afar it looks like an embroidery. The subject and execution are impeccable! The second painting is by an artist called Zeng Yang and its title is "Angel Chandellier", although I feel there must be a play on words somewhere in there. But hey, who would have thought another artist is obsessed with traffic signs! Enjoy!
