THE END OF THE LINE😢 After Josh changed the Fuel Pump we drove 30 miles crossing into Arkansas and stayed at Beautiful Lake Wilhemenia. We had a perfect night and a Great Morning. We hopped in Wilma to hit Hot Springs only 80 miles away.
Unfortunately, we only made it Six and a Half Miles before Wilma gave up on us. She met her resting place just alongside St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mena Arkansas.
Josh worked on her all day from 11:30-4p. Checking everything from the distributor to the float, cleaning the Carburetor (which she really needed) but we couldn't get her to run at idle for more than 30 seconds.
We began brainstorming our next move. We had this delicious meal with everything you see in the picture plus all you can eat bread bar and 2 drinks for under $40.
Sky went to 4 different playgrounds, scared all the ducks in Polk County and Ran down the Train Tracks Squealing with Excitement. Floyd rolled around the Grass like a Puppy.
We really are heartbroken. We spent months of renovations, thousands of dollars, dreams and planning to make this possible. Now we feel defeated.
Today we will go talk to the police at the station up the road to let them now of our presence and situation. Tonight we will attend the Service at St. Agnes and speak to the Preacher. Maybe someone can help us diagnos Wilma, give us a tow or even buy her for their own Tiny Home.
We have already posted a session ad on Craigslist in the surrounding Counties. If no one buys her by Monday/Tuesday we will Tow her to an RV Dealer to see how many Pennies they will throw at us.
We are open for ideas
Spent a few hours with Mr. Charlie learning how to take apart and rebuild a tiller carburetor this afternoon! Finally got it working long enough to make one pass of the garden. More is needed so I think lesson #2 is still in the works! #neverdonelearning#teachme#mechanics#engine#carburetor
Out searching an old shop and came across this old #holleycarb and I was told it came off of a ford 6 cylinder. It caught my eye because I had never seen the glass float bowl before. Learning new stuff every day #hotrod#carburetor
