Thank you so much to @amazinganimalsinc for their hospitality today, showing us around their sanctuary where they do amazing work for the animals they’ve rescued, providing education and information on how we can best help wildlife (spoiler alert, it’s by just letting them be and not trying to domesticate everything we find adorable) I got to meet a sloth up close which for a long time has been something I’ve always wanted to do! If you’re ever in the St Cloud area of Florida, which is about 20 miles away from Orlando, book in and pay them a visit, absolutely recommend it to everyone! I can’t express how good of a time we had and how much we had learnt by the end of the tour. There were so many More animals and photos I just couldn’t fit on one post! #amazinganimalsinc # #sloth#alligator#python#capybara#bobcat#florida
We sometimes think that we should have stayed for the comfortable familiarity, even if it wasn't working for us.
Walking away—even when you’re unsure, even when you're scared, even when it feels like it will kill you—is the most incredible thing you can do.
-You’re able to accept that things aren't going to work out how you wanted
-You care more about what's best for you long-term than what feels safe and familiar in the short term
-You know to walk away before things get worse

🇦🇷 Argentina - Esteros del Iberá
Iberá is one of the most important fresh water reservoirs in the continent and the second-largest wetland in the world after Pantanal in Brazil. And a great spot for watching wildlife. We've never heard of it before we met Douglas Tompkins in Chile and he invited us to his Estancia. #panamericana#throwback
