There's nothing wrong with a formal education as long as it doesn't put you in crippling debt, but a self-education is more important if you want to find real success💰

Who cares about this REAL ISSUE THAT AFFECTS EVERYONE? We’re more concerned about guys that wanna marry other guys and girls that wanna marry other girls and guys that wanna be girls, girls that wanna be guys, Mexico wall, “gun control” laws (as if guns just have a mind of their own and kill people spontaneously) football players exercising their rights and kneeling in peaceful protest... and other distracting nonsense that shouldn’t be our central focus 🤦🏽♂️ All the while this is accumulating in our oceans. Yay humans! Specifically us Americans because we’re the biggest consumers and contributors to the destruction of the planet. Woo hoo! #nohopeforhumanity#whatatimetobealive#america#plasticsmakeitpossible#capitalistsociety#noethics#nomorals#novalues#noaccountability#noleadership

Hey lovely folks! .
It’s Carole Epp of @musingaboutmud here taking over this account for a bit. I hope you’ll join me in looking at representations of motherhood in #ceramic#art over the next few weeks. .
Much of my work, especially in the last ten years has focused on the topic of #motherhood in contemporary society. We live in some pretty crazy times and raising children amidst so much political turmoil can be challenging. Even the question of bringing children into such a world is relevant. .
Myself I have two kids and though they are 5 & 9 I’m still struggling as a parent and as an artist to find and maintain balance and stability within my practice and our lives. But I do feel that I’m giving my kids an alternative perspective to life beyond the glossed over glittery illusion of #capitalistsociety for better or worse. .
I’m looking forward to hearing from you this month about artists you find inspiring that deal with these topics and I hope you share some of your own insight as a parent.
