I tried this 2 day cleanse for the first time and I loved the fact that it didn’t have me running to the bathroom + it taste yummy. I went from 141 to 134 in ✌🏾2 days! I’m definitely ordering this for next month! #getfocusedonresults
Rhubarb, my love, my senses tell me we will see a lot of each other this spring. 😍
Rhubarb is a sour vegetable that pops up in April. The leaves are inedible, but the stalks are used in sweet desserts, sauces, or pickled. They are full of Fiber, Vitamin C and K, and 1 serving has the same Calcium content as a glass of milk.
The usual cinnamon roasted veggies (recipe on my blog), but kept the coconut yogurt on the side because I didn’t want it to melt! Melted some @eatingevolved coconut butter on top with vanilla bean ghee… 💕
Mother’s Day is coming up so I wanted to share a few of my favorite @doterra oils that would be perfect gifts! I got my mom into essential oils a few months ago and have been teaching her how to use them, and I love using holidays to help her grow her collection! A great gift could be a Wholesale Membership ($35 membership that lasts a year and gives you 25% off of EVERYTHING from doTERRA for the year) + an oil to get her started! (or one of the starter collections!)
Some oils that I think would be perfect for Mother’s Day… *
*ClaryCalm - our Monthly Blend for Women! I think all women should have this. It helps to naturally balance out hormones, balance out emotions, and mitigate any symptoms during that time of the month. *
*Citrus Bliss - yummy blend of citrus + vanilla that helps to uplift mood, acts as a great perfume, and can be used for cleaning and detoxifying!
*Serenity - lavender-based, incredibly relaxing to help reduce tension, anxiety, and stress, and to help with sleep. *
*Rose - my favorite perfume! Helps to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections and promote an even skin tone, and incredibly uplifting! Gives me all the good vibes. *
*On Guard - one of the most popular and powerful oils I own! Incredible for immune support, cardiovascular support, and purification. I use this anytime I am sick or feel like I might get sick, and this oil is incredible as a non-toxic cleaner. When I think “antibacterial,” I think of this oil. Also very energizing and uplifting! *
Feel free to email me if you need specific recs for your mom! Head to bit.ly/doterracrw to check out all of the oils and shop my faves!
Leftovers for dinner. Bolognese from dinner on Thursday, and grilled peppers and salad. Another day of intermittent fasting (a bit lax about it today though as ate a bit earlier), but happy with how it’s going as it does make me think a lot more about what I’m eating and when. Going to attempt to give up caffeine for a week, as still bloated...this could be difficult 🤦🏻♀️
Another cupboard stable - Raw Health seed spread. Peanut butter is not allowed when battling candida which was a horrible prospect for me as I love it so much. But this seed spread is a great substitute and has the same consistency 👍
These 2-ingredient 0-carb tortillas looked more like 🥞, but 🌮 were on my mind. Also, did you know YOU CAN FREEZE AVOCADOS whole? (See stories)
Here I heated @eatpre_ grass-fed, 95% lean beef I had in my freezer with some seasoning, added some @nancysyogurt, pre-frozen avocado, and caramelized onions 😛 I’m showing the ingredients I used and demoing the RECIPE for these easy tortillas in my stories...so check it out before it's gone! Happy Sunday my friends! #lilsipper

Candida Cleanse Day ✌🏼
This morning for breakfast I made this veggie smoothie that actually isn’t half bad! It’s got: • handful of organic spinach • 1/4 organic cucumber • 10 fresh mint leaves • 1/4 avocado • squirt of lemon juice • 1 tablespoon chia seeds • coconut milk & water • ice cubes
〰️ I’m pretty impressed with how good this actually tastes considering it’s pure veggies!! I’m having this juice with a roasted sweet potato smothered in pumpkin seed butter, walnuts and hemp hearts 〰️
Happy Earth Day my friends 💖🌎💚
You can heal yourself from ANYTHING. Your body was designed with very high intelligence and funnily enough we are the ones who actually cause our own issues. When we step out of the way, and live the way Nature intended us to, our body heals itself. Raw foods, primarily high water content fruits, are the foods that take the least energy to digest and give your body everything it needs in the perfect balance, to cleanse, nourish and regenerate the cells of your body. We were not created to be sick and unhealthy, we are meant to enjoy our lives to the fullest capacity, radiating health, vibrancy and joy! Of course letting go of food addictions is probably the hardest part, but there are a lot of tools that can be utilized to make the journey easier. Reach out to me if your interested in healing, and would like some guidance, support, and a step by step transition plan 💕
Turkcesi altta ☕ my phone is mangled but I am currently drinking herbal tea. Something I learned was that you are best to either not drink anything with food till 30-30 mins after or drink something digestible like a juice or herbal tea. Water impairs digestion you see. If you are still dieting than tomorrow marks the beginning of week 3, you add two foods such as sweet potato and kefir if you had had it before and it didn't cause problems or something else. Nothing dairy otherwise. No beans either and no other fermented things. Also at this point increase your probiotic intake by taking a dose in the evening too. You should have felt some differences by now however small. Any questions?
🇹🇷Telefonum hala kirik! Sadece diger hesabima seyahat resmi arkadadim koyuyor bazen 😠 Burda bitkili cay iciyorum yemegimle. Gecen soylemistim yemekle su icmeyin, migdenin islemini bozuyor ve sindirimi yavasliyor. Cay olur, sebze su olur sadece su olmasin, 20-30 do sonra icebilirseniz iyi edersiniz. neyse 3uncu haftaya giriyoruz, simdi tatli patates ve onceden kefir icip problem vermediyse simdi biraz tuketilir yada baska birsey Ola bilir ama sut urunu ve fasulye olmasin (glutende olmaz). Ve probiyotigimizi arttiriyoruz - simdi gunde iki kere aliyoruz. Sabah ve Askam.
Yesterday was the perfect day for a forest walk. Not too hot, not too cold, no wind, no human noise, only birdsong. This plus good footwear and fitness made it very mindful and therapeutic. Of course we should all do this more but for me, if any of the above conditions aren't right, I spend most of the walk thinking about when it will end. So don't force yourself if you ain't feeling it 🌳☀️
A little while ago I made these vegan zucchini mini loafs with coconut and almond flour 😋 I used a Christmas tree cut out because I love pine trees and was missing home 😂 I will share the recipe soon! For now I’m excited to go play some Topgolf 🏌️♀️ Anyone been?
Throwback to when I actually had energy from eating carbs...🙄
Today has been a huge struggle. I have zero energy and my body is just feeling drained. It is day 5 of eating low carb and I keep contemplating whether I should just give in, or keep going. When I was in middle school, I found out about the ‘Atkins Diet’. That diet was the start of yo-yo dieting for me and I began to believe that carbs were the enemy. I FINALLY changed my mind about this when I first looked into a plant based diet about 2 years ago and really enjoyed what I began eating. #allthecarbs
Now that I have to go back to something similar to what started so many issues... It is definitely a challenge. I just have to keep reminding myself that this is short term and hopefully I’ll feel much better soon. I do have to admit, my face has started to clear up. In this picture you can see there’s so many breakouts all over and it looks quite rashy- My skin is still far from perfect now, but it really seems to be improving.
Anyways, that’s a wrap for today’s essay of a post. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!😊
I’ve literally been on E....extreme exhaustion. Like feel like the flu tired. I thought it was because I’ve had no down time. I also thought I was just #teachertired since it’s testing time and we are close to the end of the school year. Umm no. I also gained a bunch of weight out of no where! Now I know why. I found out I’m allergic to baker’s yeast (via an allergy test). WHAT?! Who the heck is allergic to that?! Me 🙋🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ At first I thought my life was over (dramatic much? Lol), but I soon realized it could be so much worse. Thank God for cousins...seriously! @healthyerdoc is my sounding board and she told me I’ve preparing myself to do this for the past few years. My other cousin, Roxy suggested some supplements. I’ve been doing my research the past few days and will be trying a whole bunch of new foods. Pray for me y’all! This shall be interesting lol
New diet is essentially "mix a bunch of veggies together and maybe put some protein in".
Todays attempt is spinach and field greens, goat cheese, pecans, and sautéd carrots, garlic, and green apples. Not bad. The cheese was a cheat...
Sometimes...even when you’re not “feeling it” (aka life), you gotta get out there! Get outside. Surround yourself with people that bring you up. Raise your vibration and turn that frown upside down 🙃. Somedays really just suck the big one but who wants to stay there?!?! So get up and get out of it and do your soul a favor ❤️💕❤️
There's a lot going on here. Healing crystals, healing veggies and a whole lotta LOVE. We all need to focus on getting more veggies into our daily diet (and a variety) and you don't have to love all veggies, you just have to do it. 😋
T I P S:
1. You can hide avocados, kale, celery and other greens in homemade salad dressing
2. Add veggies to your smoothies
3. Add veggies to pasta sauce
4. Try new things! A lot of us grew up on veggies in a can and most of them are GROSS. Try roasting brussels, fresh green beans, etc. Also, you aren't a kid anymore and our taste buds DO change. 🌿🍃🍑🍠🍆🍅
Once you start eating more veggies, your taste buds will change and your body will CRAVE them. Eating plain RAW veggies will taste so good and your whole body will thank you. Every weekend should not be a cheat weekend. Eventually eating the "treat meals" won't be worth it to you anymore. Listen to your body. It's been trying to talk to you your whole life; have you been listening?
Ladies, let me tell it to you straight...you can't cover up puffiness, body imbalances, and the visual results of bad gut health with make-up or pricey skin creams. When it comes to your body and your beauty, the #1 thing you should be focused on is INSIDE-OUT heath! The picture on the left shows a carb & caffeine-addicted, hormonal imbalanced 23 year old. LOOOONG before kids!! 😱😱😱 This is a 10 year difference!! (For the better. 😂) Your body NEEDS supplementation and tools to fight against the toxins, chemicals, and additives we are inundated with daily.
If you want to feel fantastic, beat all forms of annoying (and nasty) stomach issues, get rid of the puffiness, and crave healthy foods instead of junk...stop covering up the problems.
Get to the root cause and get relief!
💥Daily Body Balance!
That's where it's at, and that's why I LOVE the Tri-Plex. 🙌🏼
❤️It addresses all 3 areas easily, effectively, and affordably.❤️Doesn't get better than that, and that's why I'll keep shouting it from the roof tops! 😘. #inflammationsupport#guthealthy
My take on a Caesar salad: spiralised carrots, green beans, spinach, kale, a few tomatoes, bacon and Caesar dressing made with garlic infused oil, lactose free yogurt salt and pepper 👌🏻 roasting a chicken for lunches this week right now too, wild Saturday night 😎
My go-to skillet: @milkandeggscom red chard, mushrooms, and avo with whatever leftover protein I have in the fridge (ground buffalo here), topped with crunchy salt 😍 It always looks the same, but I make it taste a little different each day just by switching out the protein and using a different oil/fat to cook in! Sometimes coconut oil, sometimes ghee, sometimes duck fat, sometimes bison tallow, sometimes avocado oil.. and then I add different seasonings. Usually either oregano, rosemary, turmeric, ginger, or some combination of those. Simple swaps like that can make the same veggies taste totally different! Also, I need a moment to publicly acknowledge my deep love for Swiss chard, because I don’t talk about it enough. Swiss chard is not given enough credit in the world of greens, and it’s definitely make favorite sautéed green. I especially love the stems! I’m curious - what’s your go-to breakfast right now?? Also, you know I LOVE TGIT and have been an OG, but is anyone else relieved Scandal is over?!
This picture we took for Adriana’s birthday always makes me smile. It’s so cite & funny, but the after photo of me gagging would have been funnier. This was just WAY too sweet for me.....…..........................................
A few years ago I was a #sugaraddict and would have been in heaven 🙌🏻😻 I would have been high and then crashed out an hour later just to do it again later. Day after day I spent riding that sugar rollercoaster. I felt TERRIBLE!! Moody, anxiety ridden, and I could ever sleep.............................................
Then I found a drink that would balance my blood sugar naturally. My sweet cravings died down, my need for caffeine went away, and I was energized throughout the day with no crash!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 .............................
I improvised a lovely zingy spring dish the other day - Just pluck some dandelion leaves and stinging nettles, add chopped tomato, garlic and bell pepper and grate a bit of lemon zest over it. Simmer until everything's almost soft with just enough vegetable broth, add coconut oil and put an egg on top with some salt and cayenne and fry with a lid on until the desired consistency is reached. For the salad I used lambs salad, sunflowerseeds, a pinch of minced ginger, olive oil, lemon juice and some daisies. Refreshing and a great treat for your liver and intestines! #CandidaDiet
FODMAP friendly lunch today! Pan fried salmon with pumpkin velouté and sage. Intermittent fasting today, and I did a spin class at 10am so I was starving by the time I ate this. The others were drinking but I had a mocktail as a little fragile from the past couple of nights.
Following the candida diet, I eat the same things a lot of the time. I eat A LOT of kale, avocado and eggs for breakfast. It’s just how it is 🤷🏼♀️ when you’re working with a limited list of protocol-friendly foods, you gotta eat what sounds good to you and fortunately most of the time the same things sounds good to me so I’m not complaining! Anyone else go through phases where they eat the same thing for breakfast for days on end?
That said, the not-so-secret sauce for keeping the same ingredients fresh and interesting is: duh, seasonings. I’m totally guilty of just defaulting to the trifecta (salt, pepper, garlic) a lot of the time, but I decided to spice things up today (literally (lol)) 💃🏼
Sautéed kale in some avocado oil with s+p, sautéed some mushrooms in organic butter with s+p, smoked paprika and sundried tomatoes, fried eggs in bacon fat with s+p and smoked paprika, and of course some avocado with EBTBS 😍 ...and then doused everything in Franks red hot sauce 🔥👍🏼
