This is my first personal sweater knit. It is the start of adding to my wardrobe with hand made items. In exactly the style I want. I finished it while I was pregnant with my youngest last year and I have worn it almost everyday since. It has become my go to and is often the only sweater I take when I am on the road. I knit it from @quinceandco yarn and the pattern is the #rosemontcardigan from the book #homeandaway by @knitbot I deliberately adjusted the pattern for a looser fit, longer body and arms.

I slowed down and became more conscious of my fashion choices over five years ago. I really became more conscious with my entrance into the world of Fibre arts. I have now started knitting a second staple sweater and am very excited! .

Sneak peak pic of the dress I've been working on! Some sewing, some embroidery, and a lot of patience was involved in this one. There was a day there where I had a half hour before I had to be somewhere, hadn't showered or eaten, but had finished this dress. Priorities, yo. This pic was taken in sunset light (hence why I look even the tiniest bit tan) and got me a lot of strange looks from the guy outside my apartment. This is just to hold you off until I figure out how to get a nice full length picture (any ideas? That don't involve me awkwardly posing in front of another human?) showing off this hunk of material that I am far too proud of.

Experimenting with which materials actually achieve their drying purposes, retain the ink best, look nice (all of them obviously). I am really enjoying this earthy almost fall combination. We have snow again today and although it is not really sticking around I have hit my limit for winter and am super ready for spring. I am struggling more and more to remain positive about April snow 😂! I am excited to be getting to carding and assembling the April Collectors Boxes this week ~ lots of spring pretties in this.
