Happy birthday Rose 🌹🍾🎉🎊🎂! It was 13 years ago today that the very first episode “Rose” was shown on Saturday night in 2005. After the original series had a 26 series run between 1963 and 1989 and a one-off TV movie in 1996, Russel T Davies brought the time lord back to our screens. Starting the show with a totally new doctor - Christopher Eccleston. No one knew if this was a continuation of the classic series or a reboot but the “autons” were familiar with fans of the old show and the tardis. The show was good fun mixing humour and drama and a good cast. Billie Piper played Rose Tyler a down on her luck teenager whose life changed when a big eared strange man appeared. His first words were “RUN”! I liked this new direction but looking back now it was well short of the best ever episode. The entire series was quality but the series like the doctor was “gonna change”! A healthy 10.5 million viewers watched the premiere and it was going to take us “on a trip of a lifetime”!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫! *This is my picture edit of Rose. Hope you like it. #doctorwho#ninthdoctor#christophereccleston#christophereccelston#tardis#rosedoctorwho#billiepiper#rosedoctor#rosetyler#mickeysmith#jackietyler#camillecoduri#noelclarke#autons#run#russeltdavies
So we walked in late to the #doctorwho q&a panel, where #frasierhines called us out. Being dressed as Ten, I looked back and said "Sorry 'bout that" in my best Tennant impression. #camillecoduri smiled and saluted me and we took our seats
Fast forward to the fan Q&A part:
I went up there to ask a question
"So...my question is for Camille....Are you still gonna kill me if we end up on Mars?"
Camille: "Oh absolutely, yes"
Camille: "Is that your favorite moment?"
(I laugh and nod)
Camille: "Well you do really look like him too. I love the costume"
And I swear this actually, 100% happened
