• 1 lbs. brussels sprouts • 1 tbsp grapeseed oil (or olive oil) • 3 tbsp soy sauce • 2 tbsp maple syrup • 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice • 1 garlic clove, minced • 1 tbsp Sriracha • pinch of black pepper • kosher salt
Let’s do this:
📌 preheat your oven to 400°.
📌Wash and dry your brussels sprouts very well.
📌Slice them in half and place them in a bowl. (**Very important to make sure your brussel sprouts are dry. This way the oil will stick and always result in major crispiness. 💡If you try to roast ANY vegetable that is not completely dry after washing, it will always come out soggy👎🏼)
📌 Place brussels sprouts in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil or grapeseed oil, a pinch of kosher salt and a touch of a pepper. Shake them around to coat.
📌 Cover a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer sprouts to baking sheet and roast in the oven for 35 minutes.
📌During the last five minutes of roasting, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, lemon juice, garlic and sriracha in a small saucepan over med-high heat and heat until sauce reduces in size and thickens like a syrup (5 mins).
📌Transfer sprouts to a bowl, and drizzle with some of the reduced sauce. (Do this a little at a time as you don’t want the brussels to be soaked in sauce so they retain their crispiness).
📌Done and done ✅ Enjoy 😉 😘 .

There are so so many benefits for getting kids involved in food prep from a young age, from learning where Food comes from, maths and problem solving when following a recipe, science experiments in baking, learning the joy of making food with love and of course an extra pair of hands to save time!! This 20 minute pasta dish nailed it!
1 box @eatbanza noodles
2 cups frozen peas
2 cups roasted cubed sweet potatoes
Grated cheese, optional
Add a bit of olive oil to a cast iron skillet. Add in peas and sweet potatoes. Cook until slightly crispy. Meanwhile cook pasta and once done add to peas and sweet potatoes. Add pesto sauce and mix well. Top with cheese and serve.

~ burger recipe: 1 lb of organic ground turkey or ground beef (I've tried this recipe on both and works great), 1 egg, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 yellow onion, minced, 2 cloves of garlic, minced, s + p. mix ingredients in a bowl and use your hands!! it works so much better! then form into patties. heat a pan with oil and place in the pan 2-3 inches apart. make a dimple with your thumb in the center of the patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking. I used a top to help cook the patties quicker but cook to your preference! I did about 6-7 minutes on each side on medium high heat! top with your favs! I used feta cheese here. enjoy! ~

Woah. My last cycle was a TOUGH one. The time between ovulation & my period dragged on for weeks & was wracked with unusually inconsistent mood, energy, appetite, comfort, sanity 😏. After all the work i put into taking care of myself, the less than desirable results irritated me & made me feel frustrated with my body & my choices. •
If I was coaching client through a similar situation, I would encourage patience, compassion & a little bit of extra self care. But when it comes to my own life I am not always good about practicing what I preach as a health coach. So, in addition to making it clear that I still have work to do with balancing my hormones, this past cycle also made it clear that I have A LOT of work to do with accepting my body as it changes & making peace with variables I can’t control. •
Self love & body acceptance shouldn’t be conditional. We can’t only be nice to ourselves when we’re looking our best or functioning optimally. We should love, accept, nourish, honor our bodies even when they’re imperfect or presenting challenges. That’s when we need to love em the most! So next time I’m not feeling like a rockstar, or not looking like I did when I was 28 & hangry, I’m going to try to remember that my body & I deserve unconditional love just like any other creature. I’m going to try my damndest to practice what i preach & love this #misfitwellness mess unconditionally. What do you say, will you try it too?

I know that huge bowls of salads with lots of delicious ingredients can look swoon-worthy.😍 ESPECIALLY on IG. and believe me, I've also been known to fall prey to the LETS PUT EVERYTHING IN THE FRIDGE IN THIS SALAD BOWL! mentality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But recently, I've been opting for simple salads with fewer ingredients. eating meals with less ingredients makes it easier for your body to break down and digest properly. this can reduce bloat, supports your immune system, and aids in inflammation. PLUS! I find that I can taste and appreciate each ingredient more. 👍
today's simple 🥗: red butter letter, avocado, black radish, organic yellow heirloom tomatoes, and some radish sprouts.
This sauce was so delicious and extremely easy to make! We just took a good quality, sugar free, organic tomato basil sauce and added in some fresh garlic and chili flakes. We let that cook together for a bit and then added it to a blender with about 10 raw cashews and a sprinkle of nutritional yeast and BAM 💥 magic . Slightly spicy, a little creamy and absolutely delectable! We used our favorite @cappellos grain free, gluten free fettuccine and sautéed some criminis in a little bit of avocado oil to top it all off. So if you’re looking for something easy and yummy to make, this is the way to go.
