Hello Saturday! 😍Chocolate peanut butter buckwheat smoothie to kick start the long weekend anyone? The best way to see in three days of fun I reckon. How to 👇After 10 misty miles along the river this breakfast bowl was most necessary. And the lovely folks at @livias_kitchen sent me some of their nugglets to try so I added a few of the salted almond butter variety this morning’s smoothie and it was a delicious addition! Can’t wait to see what the other flavours are like. Hope the weekend is treating you well so far. What are you plans? I’m back in London and the sun’s out so looking forward to getting out and about. And also I’m catching up with friends around the world with a few Skype dates! Have a lovely few days.
- Soak 1/4 cup of buckwheat groats overnight in cold water. In the morning rinse and add to your blender.
- Next add a frozen banana, handful of frozen steamed cauliflower florets, tbsp of cacao, heaped tsp of peanut butter protein powder, 1/2 cup almond milk, a pinch of cinnamon and sea salt and blend to smooth. Add any sweetener of your choice here too if you like.
- Top your smoothie with toasted coconut, cacao nibs, strawberries and more peanut butter. I used @pipandnut maple peanut butter.
- And enjoy!
A few tarts for a wedding today ♥️ chocolate water ganache tart with blackcurrant jam and buckwheat, almond, hazelnut and cocoa pastry (top tip - after you’ve baked your pastry shell and it’s cooled, brush over a layer of melted dark chocolate and let it set so that the jam won’t make it soggy!) and raspberry and pistachio frangipane tart with buckwheat and almond pastry, @newtonandpott raspberry and rose jam and rose jelly glaze; pansies and marigold petals on chocolate, geraniums on fruity! Both happen to be vegan too. @restaurantmoro are doing all the other food which is very nice and a bit ‘wow is this happening!?’ to be serving my tarts with their incredible food 😊🤦🏻♀️😯 :) ... wish I could join the party! I make my porridge with
NAKED OATS or WHOLE BUCKWHEAT. You can also use QUINOA, but I like the other two better. These are good to use because they're RAW and therefore CONSIST ALL THEIR NUTRITION. YOU HAVE TO SOAK THEM before use, you can also sprout them for maximum nutrition 💪🌱

Goodbyes are never easy, even when you’re really excited for the person. My best friend, whom I am lucky enough to call my girlfriend, just left to go home to California before going on a seven week mission trip to Kenya. I’m so stoked for the calling God has placed in her life, and I can’t wait to see what He has in store for her there. I will miss her yes, but I couldn’t be more excited for her at the same time. .
