I really enjoyed my Pilates session this morning. I felt stronger than last week’s session already! I’m thinking of making this more of a regular thing.

This activity is divided into three sections, one per minute. For the first minute, ask yourself how you are doing. Be mindful of your feelings and thoughts. During the second minute, focus on your breath. In the last minute, feel the in’s and out’s of your breath as you carefully reflect on how it impacts the rest of your body. In this weekend’s #restoreyourcore workshop we talked a lot about the importance of breath 🌬

So in the spirit of sharing how to💡#worksmarternotharder let’s take a moment to assess how you breathe...🧐 1️⃣ Placing hands on belly and chest, take an inhale and try to feel which hand moves first (correct answer = belly!) 2️⃣ Alternatively, place hands on the sides of the lower ribs and try to feel expansion into your hands 
You might need to work at this step for a while. It’s totally common, breathing gets goofed up for a lot of reasons but can make a huge difference in your core stability, thoracic spine mobility, neck, hips...pretty much everything! 😮🤗 Remember the #diaphragm contracts down putting a pressure down on the #pelvicfloor, which then recoils back up as you exhale. That’s the rhythm you want to get back. 
3️⃣ #childspose 🚼Is a great place to work on #diaphragmaticbreathing 
With the belly compressed it’s easier to send breath out the sides and back. Practice here!! 🔁

4️⃣ once you gain confidence here you can take he show in the road!  Move into cat/cows, stabilize in table and find your expansive breath here, then keep making the movements bigger!

I spent way too long trying to decide “should I practice first or exercise...?” So why not do both!? I mixed my exercise with flute today and I could not be happier; it was fun and efficient! So I’m sure you all have been keeping up with the cards from this deck. I feel as this card falls into alignment perfectly with the energies and guides you on how to work WITH them.
Why are you so uptight and all over the place? When was the last time you actually sat down and took a healthy breath? Maybe even focused on your breathing and used full capacity of your lungs? Did you know we only use about 20% of our lung space to breathe? No wonder we’re constantly frantic and can’t do things right. We’re too busy not giving our bodies the full attention we should. Through breath itself! - no I’m not saying we’re not breathing, guys. You get my point 🙃😜
But seriously, take some time today no matter when or where and just focus on grounding breaths.
Close your eyes, keep your back straight, shoulders back and relaxed, inhale through your nose, hold, and exhale through your mouth longer than you inhaled. Repeat this for a good 5 minutes, or as long as you’d like, and you will find yourself centered again.
Then go about and tackle whatever it is you need to get done!
Works like a charm every time for me. Hope it helps someone else out there as well!

Another message I’m getting is that a lot of you are worried about things not happening or getting done as you’d wish them to be. Or maybe things aren’t happening fast enough for you. I’m getting that it’s time to slow down and be in alignment with the divine. Relax and breathe knowing everything that is meant for you will come to you, if you allow it to!

TRUST...SURRENDER...BREATHE✨
.You know those times when you think the universe is conspiring against you. Or you think ‘WHY ME’, ‘WHY NOW’?? That was me initially, when Hubby wrote our car off. As we prefer a more minimalist life and choose not to have unnecessary material things. We only had the one car. So now having no car, trying to balance his work life, home life and needing to finalise everything for the upcoming event. This has really come at a bad time. My capacity for calm rational thinking is full and almost over spilling, my to do list just keeps getting longer, emails need replying, people to contact, children needing.. well everything, the house is 🏚, and everything just keeps growing. I’m almost feeling suffocated with everything I need to get done and the demands from everyone else. Yet, I remind myself to surrender, trust and breathe. The universe works in mysterious ways and you can not have a 🌈 with out a little 🌧. There has been some good things that have come from this. (Side note-when you are manifesting things in your life. Make sure you 💯% clear on what you are manifesting. Also that the universe may bring it in some interesting ways🤨).

What a phenomenal holiday. I have been reminded that life is about moments and too often we are to busy doing and not being. 
The right people come into your life when you least expect them. Last night a lovely Fijian man called frank sat down and had a very powerful conversation with me. It grounded me. Made me feel safe and I am going to trust in what is meant to be is meant to be. 
The rainbow today was another one of those moments. Stunning and peaceful. Then there was the sensational snorkeling by myself out on the reef. The variety of fish and coral are amazing. 
Oh and I can’t forget that today I swam with a manta ray!!!!!! Eek I love this year of being brave. 
My next mission tomorrow is to practice free-diving in the morning and get this Breathing coach testing her lungs. Then in the afternoon I am off for my first intro dive. For years the thought of diving has made have a slight panic attack with my irrational fear of sharks. Then yesterday I saw an angelic reef shark glide under me while I was snorkeling. And my fear vanished. This Breathing coach needs to face her fear and get in the ocean. Plus I love being under water. It is my meditation. And I crave it. Diving is going to take it to a whole new level.

After being ill messed up my freediving weekend, i did some static training this morning to make sure that i perform next month when i get back in the water!
