Traveling way outside your comfort zone, whether physically to another country, virtually, spiritually, biochemically or through other means, is always a great way to expand one's scope of the world and soften, if not abolish completely, our long held notions of how things should be.
The 🍸Parisian 🍸cocktail, also known as the 🍸Arnaud🍸, named after the French musician and actress Yvonne Arnaud, is a fine celebration of the diversity, which reminds us that even minor twists on old classics can birth an entirely new beast.
Also, I find the thoroughly Japanese and delitefully intricate Roku gin to work well with the bold notes of blackcurrant. An unusual pairing, maybe. But one I'll most definitely nurture further on.
30 ml gin
30 ml dry vermouth
30 ml creme de cassis
Stir and strain into a chilled martini glass, garnish with a lemon twist

Often times we get so focused and overwhelmed on the size of our dreams/goals that we actually never take the small steps necessary to see them come to pass. Having big dreams is great but if you don't take the seemingly small practical steps each and every day it doesn't matter how big the dream is.
One of my bigger struggles in life but more specifically business was that I had no problem dreaming big but would always feel that my steps were too small. I mean I started a "clothing brand" with only one shirt lol! Which actually made me contemplate never starting because I couldn't do it "right". But here's the thing if you don't start with the one shirt you'll never get to 10,15,20 whatever the goal would be. If I had waited till I could've released at launch 10 shirt designs, 2 hats designs, and a backpack I would've never started.
You have to take the small steps towards whatever it is you are striving for. If you want to be a doctor you have to show up at school consistently then eventually get your degree, if you want to be a manager at your work you have to show up consistently. No matter how big your dream, it all starts with practical daily steps forward #consistencyiskey#chaseyourdreams#smallstepseveryday
Each sport has unique demands that are placed on the human body for different durations of time. The ability to succeed in that sport is often determined by your body’s capacity to efficiently bear, and react to those demands. As coaches, it is our responsibility to develop ways to create safe stressors that mimic those demands both physically and mentally in order to develop resilience to them for you to not only meet, but exceed them.
Jesse drives race cars, very fast ones. There are very different forces at play during his races than most typical sports. Multidirectional G forces during acceleration, braking and cornering, grip endurance, core and shoulder strength and stability, and even ankle and hip stability and mobility all affect his ability to endure a race, not to mention the neurological demands of the track, the car itself, and other racers.
Here we’re using the 4kg @viprpro and the @mostfitworkouts corehammer from @powersystems to incorporate some reactive, grip, strength, and stability training through the entire body, with a great amount of demand being placed on the upper extremities.
How smart is your training routine? #SWIPE ⬅️

Here's to Being Unafraid
To embrace our worth
To look it in the eye
To hug it like an old friend and apologize for the time and distance
Here's to self forgiveness
Here's to holding on tight and never letting go of it again
Sometimes as a mom I forget to stop. 🌿
I forget to be still. 🌿
We are stretched in a million different directions on any given day. 🌿
We forget that we matter too. That what we are doing matters. 🌿
The love and sacrifice we give each day is changing the world as we raise these tiny people. 🌿
One day they will be the ones fighting for compassion, love, empathy and forgiveness in this world. 🌿
What we do MATTERS! 🌿
But don’t forget to be still. To remember the sacred calling of your motherhood. 🌿
STOP. BREATHE. REMEMBER.
How do you remember?
“Children learn more from what you are than what you teach them” W. E. B. Du Bois For myself first and for the bright little souls like this sweet boy that look up to me: I will stay true to myself, live my truth. No matter what, I will never fold. Show them they can be anything they want to be. It doesn’t matter when or how you start. As long as you set your mind to it, give it your all and do it with passion and dedication, you can achieve anything. There’s no one mold, one right way. Experience it all. Try it all. Fail. Get back up and do it all over again. That’s what we’re here for. #beyourself#showthem#theyrealwayswatching#breakthemold#learn#teach#empower#love#livelife#try#experience#nevergiveup#fightforit

No this isn’t a transformation or progress timeline, this is reality. (Stay with me here)
The first photo was taken by a very dear friend of mine at my 13th Half Marathon this past Sunday. The second photo was taken by my husband 1 mile later at the EXACT same race. The last photo was taken today, 2 days post race.
When I received the first photo I’ll admit, I burst into tears, I said to my husband, “I look 400lbs!!!” “I’m never wearing shorts again in my life!! Is this really how I look?” I felt so down on myself for how I looked in that 1 photo, at the 12th mile crossing a bridge running an 8:57mile pace average. I spent so much time looking over every single race photo trying to see all the differences and imperfections of every inch of my body. Yep, it’s exhausting. Then I realized that 1.) I cannot let 1 single photo steal my race joy. I had just finished my 1st race of the season post running injury. This was a major accomplishment! 2.) An angle makes all the world of a difference in a photo. The first photo my photographer friend was squatting down on the ground at the bottom of a bridge shooting up. My response to him was - this isn’t my best angle 🤪. Truth is, I’m a size small/6. I’m not 400lbs. And I run a lot of miles. I’ve had 2 babies who are 5 & 2 yrs old. I know my body isn’t where I want it to be yet but I always consider myself unfinished. Life is my working progress.
I’m posting this very raw form of myself to help not only myself but insure others that life is all about perspective and choosing self love. Not every angle of life is perfect. It’s all about how to choose to look at it, feel it, believe it. A massive thank you to my friend and teammate Megan @sixfootfit for encouraging me to believe in my best and to post this. A big shout out to @mileposts for inspiring me to do this! @oiselle #womanup#selflove#bodytalk#runner#runnerbody#momlife#mombod#perspective @gazellegirlmichigan #flystyle#nuunlove#hshive#procompression#positivevibes#weartheshorts#believeit#breakthemold#thistookguts ✌🏻
I truly hope you find as much freedom in this as I did. Well meaning people put expectations on you that well meaning people put on them most of the time to their own detriment.
If I had submitted my life to well meaning people's expectations of me, I would still be in college trying to find myself and would never have started my business a couple years ago. The reason being is nobody expected it.
The only thing expected of you is that you are in pursuit of becoming the best version of yourself whatever that looks like. If that means going to college great! If not, great! If it means becoming a doctor great, if it means being an accountant freaken awesome! DON'T LIVE YOUR LIFE TO PLEASE OTHERS, IT'S A NEVER ENDING, DREAM COMPROMISING PURSUIT #breakthemold#chaseyourdreams#exceedexpectations
I am never going to be the one to tell you not to compare yourself to others... I think that it’s human nature to see where you measure up.
I compare myself to others all of the time... For example, I use Pinterest as a tool to spread my blog content. What I have noticed is that many users blog about the same content and use the same images/colors because it is eye catching and trendy. Sometimes I think that it’s important to understand what works, but it can be so easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing and lose your own creativity. Don’t be afraid to break the mold and find what works best for you. Most of the time there is something missing that you can provide... you just have to find that gap. Be open minded in everything that you do. Instead of thinking about how “we’ve always done it” try a different approach because the chances are that you are not the only one who feels like there is something missing.
BE A DREAMER 💓
Be a dreamer they said.
You can be whatever you want to be they said.
And then you turn 18 and you’re supposed to follow in line with society and...
• “get a J. O. B.”, (just over broke, I like to call it) • and go to college
• work for 40+ years
• let your boss dictate your vacation and worth
• and, only truly live on the weekends... Hmmmmm...💭 I have a college degree. I followed what I thought was expected of me. It was unfulfilling, long hours, lots of commuting and hours off my life I’ll never get back, building someone else’s dreams and not paid my worth. And God Bless my child for giving me the best reason to not go back to my job after maternity leave 🙌🏼 and for opening my eyes 👀, my heart ❤️, and my mind 🧠 to other opportunities for our family.
I had absolutely no experience in network marketing, I am STILL learning and getting paid an amazing income (earn while you learn) and there is NO other place I could go where my impact would be greater, my personal self growth would be greater, my paycheck could be unlimited or my heart would be greater than right here in network marketing. If you don’t know yet, you’ll find out soon it’s the way of the future in business!
So I’m here to remind you that no dream is too big. And no goal is too high. It’s just up to you to put in the work and personal growth to get there! 💫💃🏼📱💻 #breakthemold#networkmarketing#inteGRITy#grit#entrepreneur#mompreneur#workfromhome#workfromhomemom#hustle#heart#networking#networkmarketing#health#wellness
