You get called Selfish for putting yourself first by people who want you to take responsibility for the problems they create.
Even if they don't say it out loud, anyone who does not allow you time or space to put yourself first falls into that category.
Advise from my dad and @fitwithkrys. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼. Set boundaries with people. Please don't tell them off at first. Just explain to them that they have crossed the line and they are making you upset or taking advantage of you. If that doesn’t work then yes.... read post again and let them know the other way. #giveaninchtakeamile#boundaries#idontthinkso#respect#tellthem#good#kindspirit
You have all the skills you need to succeed and reach your current goals (no matter how lofty they might feel). But maybe you’re still trying to figure out how to distribute your gifts or where to direct your energy. Maybe you’re setting boundaries where you need to be more open. Maybe you’re being flexible where you need to set boundaries. Maybe you feel too entangled in a situation to discern the right answers or next steps. What will you do to disentangle yourself? Sometimes, you need to lay everything out in plain sight so that you can see the reality of a situation. The truth can be painful, but it will always set you free if you’re willing to look at it plainly. If you’re reckoning with a particular circumstance, what is the core truth of that situation. If you feel confused in your life, what is the core truth in your life? Don’t be afraid to lay it out. Don’t be afraid to let it lay YOU out a little bit, too, if it has to. You’ll be ok. This is the best thing for you right now, because when you see things as they are, it’s very easy to decide your next best move. If you’re having trouble figuring it out, schedule an intuitive restoration session at the Institute for Earth-Based Living and we’ll work together to examine your truth and how you can best move forward. #earthbased#earthbasedliving#earthbasedhealing#transformation#healing#restoration#energy#balance#earth#environment#goals#success#boundaries#truth#freedom

"Once you realize that the road is the goal, and that you are always on the road, not to reach a goal but to enjoy its beauty and its wisdom, life ceases to be a task and becomes natural and simple. in itself an ecstasy."

My front garden. I have a good mix of alpines and shrubs, creating a little boundary round the side of the house and privacy and also offering a little conservation area for wildlife and insects 🐞 🐝🕷🐜🐛🦋 #garden#shrubs#boundaries#morningsun#naturefirst

About the importance of knowing your limits... and living them. Last week I guided 16 hours of classes, both private and public. And with also 3 little kids (from 6 month old to 5.5 years old) to take care of I have to say it was a bit too much. Today I’m guiding 2 classes also, and then tomorrow no classes. Letting my body and voice rest a little bit. I have always had a bit of trouble respecting my limits and boundaries. I find it not so easy to identify the point where it is too much. Also saying NO never was my strength and This is something I have been working on for the past years. Setting my own boundaries and owning them. Being my own guard. Because I tend to be super enthusiastic and always wanting to help out to the point I may be burning myself out. So I know I have to be careful about that. This is my practice, this is my journey. This week was just at the limit. A liiitle bit to far. And at the same time almost indispensable to know intimately this limit... now I have to take a little step back, for 24 hours, and hopefully with time everything will get balanced. Oh my there is no definite balance anyway... it is all changing, it depends on the moments, on Life... for now with 3 small kids, a -still-a-little-bit-post-partum-body and a thyroid that needs nurturing to stay balanced, the limits are what they are. Have a wonderful day everyone!! #yoga#yogaeverydamnday#practicepracticepractice#split#maastricht#outdooryoga#frenchyogini#parisianyogini#yogalife#yogalove#boundaries#takecareofyourself#selfcare#yogateacher#stralayoga#stralaeverywhere
