The Storytree ... 'I'm intrigued' said the man at @btpedgbaston this morning. I set up the space as I normally do. 'Looks fun' he said. 'It is' I replied. Every week I take the Storytree to different places. A gypsy with an elephant as a wagon. I share stories with lots of people. Lots of children I know and many I don't. Yesterday in @btpstratford a boy I know took the bowls of feathers and straws and paper and stuff. He tried to tip the stuff out. It was stuck. So with his hands he took it all out. Made a big pile with all the stuff. I asked him what it was ... mmm, why Kate's Storytree? Why ask him what is it? Why ask for a narrow definition? He looked at me. The girl sat next to us said 'It's magic.' Ah! Magic! Yes, of course. Magic it is. I'd lost sight. Forgot about the magic. The boy made magic and the girl could see it. And so the girl and the boy taught us, once again ... taught us to always look for the magic.
The Storytree is messy. We make a mess. But from now on I wish to change the word 'mess' into 'magic.' The Storytree is magic. Come make some magic. Magic is good.
🤙Proud Field trip Chaperone right here! ⠀😅
To be honest, visiting the Children’s Museum was a little surreal since so much of my professional life was based around Congress Street in #boston . From the time I was working for a financial software company as a Recruiting Manager, to the time I moved across the bridge to work for an asset management firm as their Campus Program Manager...my career was built around the Children’s Museum and #bostonteaparty sites. Yet today, there I was, back on my old stomping grounds but with 40+ kiddos! ⠀
I continue to be so grateful for my path, experiences, and choices I’ve made to get me here. ☝️BUT most importantly, I’m thankful I successfully chaperoned another field trip without losing a child. #totalchaperonewin 🙌
Happy Tuesday everyone 🙏😀 We are running through our presentation for the @sikh2inspire camp.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Feel free to message us with any last minute things that you would like us to cover.

🇺🇸☕️🇺🇸 DID YOU KNOW?... The 342 chests, that were destroyed at the Boston Tea Party, consisted of several different types of the commodity - the differences arose from the mode of preparation:
240 chests of Bohea (black) - the cheapest type
15 chests of Congou - a superior type of black Bohea tea
10 chests of Souchong (a superior black)
60 chests of of Singlo (green tea, more expensive than black)
17 chests of Hyson (the most desirable green tea)
The 342 chests were equivalent to more than 46 tons of tea leaves which would have made nearly 19 million cups of tea! #winsometea#winsometeaco#teaisgood#bostonteaparty#history#trivia
Happy Birthday to my Amazing Auntie, Delia Sebastian-Chua!
More Birthdays and Blessings to come Auntie!
Age is just a Number Auntie you still look like 30! 😉
Thank you for being the glue that keeps the Sebastian Family.
Wishing you all the best that life has to offer!
I'm always thankful for having you in my Life.
To me, she is also the epitome and the GOAT 🐐 of what's it's like to be a Nurse. Especially on how she prepares herself for work (2 hours early for work. Always leaves late). One of the original #MambaMentality She's always an inspiration to me.
I can still remember that time when she brought me to see her work place in a hospital in New York City.🗽
I was amazed on seeing her Unit wall which is full of her pictures saying "Nurse of the Month", "Nurse of the Year"! #Lodi talaga si Auntie! 🙂
I wish I can be that good too! 😉
Anyway Auntie, enjoy your Birthday!
We Love you! 🙂
