Thanks everyone for the input. After much deliberation, we’ve decided to go with the Bona Nordic Seal “slightly whitewashed” look. Going to apply three coats of it to bring more white into it, and seal it with a poly after it cures. #bonanordic @bonafloorcare #homerenovation
With every coat of @bona_pro Nordic Sealer the floor gets whiter and whiter it’s a great product for achieving that right amount of white for the customer

A couple of weeks ago we got to refinish this herringbone parquet, red oak. This was the second job we used the NordicSeal on, and topped that with a few coats of Bona Mega satin finish. We really like the look it gives red oak. It buries the pink tones, and brings a white wash look to the floor. Definitely has a learning curve to it, don’t use a roller to apply, only t-bar. You might need a second coat to have more white pigment left on the floor.
Bona has a nice line of sealers, that offer different tones to natural wood, we’ve been using a sealer on every job where we don’t use a stain.
What do you guys use? Anybody try these products, or have a different process for “White-wash” look?
