The real breakfast of chaps. I woke up feeling like I needed toast or bread, this is why I usually have Joseph’s pita is in the house. They aren’t the perfect keto food, but they definitely keep me from making mistakes. It’s OK to have things like this to help you out sometimes, and they’re only 5 g of net carbs. I also had an avocado, and 2 scrambled eggs with jalapeño, diced onion, and wait for it....a chopped up hotdog!
@aaryn.michelle I know you love when I eat scrambled eggs and hotdog!
Decided to eat my calories for breakfast instead of a bullet proof drink today.
Cream cheese pancake. Swipe ⬅ for ingredients, calories and macros. •
P.s. I'm poor so myfitnesspal is the free version so idk how accurate this is lol. •
This yielded 5 pancakes (so you can easily make this serve 2 people). •
Instructions: Whip everything up in a blender until the cream cheese is smooth, let the batter sit for 2-3 mins. On medium heat cook until you see bubbles start to form snd the edge gets a little firm and flip (approx 2-3 mins on each side). •
I didn't know what to top this with since I have nothing sugar free at home and I didn't grease the pan so I just added two tbsp of butter on top, yay to extra fat lol.
CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT MY MILE PACE. I used to barely be able to walk a mile in 20 minutes. My legs burned, my shins hurt, I was winded, my side hurt... etc. now I ran 20 minutes and stopped because the treadmill turned off. How did I do it? I didn’t give up when everything hurt and I was dying, I kept pushing. JUST LIKE YOU SHOULD.
Passed my original ultimate goal by .2 lbs this morning. I’LL TAKE IT!! I’m now 12.8 lbs away from the first weight I ever put in to MFP freakin 8 years ago. Feeling proud but ready for my head to see what the scale sees. Now where’s my bacon?
Dear Skinny April,
I have so many feels about this picture. This MEDIUM senior year shirt fits again! Like, almost better than it did before... I am quickly approaching my lowest and it’s exciting but also terrifying. At my lowest adult ish weight I fit into 12s. What happens when I get there? And then pass it? I have no idea what that body looks like for me and I’m a person that thrives on preparation. So, Skinny April, you have to be strong enough to handle that. To deal with all the new challenges of living in a smaller body. I hope you’re ready for it cause it’ll be here before I know it.
I bare my soul in these letters to myself in the hopes that you can find some peace on your journey. There are universal struggles and we all have our shit to deal with. If me showing my shit helps you in any way, my purpose is fulfilled. Also, I love hearing from you, and will always try to respond.

Had an extremely long day today and I only have a few hours of sleep before I work again! Barely any time to catch up on IG these days 🤦🏻♀️ Anyway, Fried chicken thigh//collards//2 strawberries for dinner.
«««Swipe««« Sorry somehow the order got all mixed up.
No exact recipe for the chicken, just winged it pretty much. Still experimenting. This was coated with hot sauce and then seasoned with S&P, smoked and regular paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a dash of oregano»after it sat for 30 mins I dunked the thighs in egg wash and then coated them in a crushed pork rind and almond flour mixture»fried up in avocado oil.
These collards were delish! They’re actually homegrown “tree collards” from the backyard! I chopped them into large pieces and set aside. 🥓🥓Render your bacon (I added extra olive oil) and add sliced garlic + some onions + collards in until they wilt. After they cook down a bit, add in enough chicken broth to cover the greens. Then add 2 tbsp of ACV, red pepper flakes, S&P, a dash of sweetener. Slow cook until tender and the greens absorb all the delicious bacon flavor! It’ll be Smokey and slightly tangy with a hint of sweetness. Perfect accompaniment to the fried chicken! 🍗😛
I was experimenting but I’m open to anyone’s favorite low carb fried chicken recipe they enjoy! I had a hard time keeping the coating on while frying so I may try to bake these next time and see how they turn out 🤔 Regardless, these came out crispy and juicy! Nom nom.
