🔥Supersets are a very valuable tool when used properly. They save you time without really sacrificing performance. While straight sets certainly have their place and I definitely use them, I almost always include some sort of superset in my workouts.
✅The key is to pick two exercises that work opposing muscle groups. This way even though you’re exerting yourself, you’re not taxing the same muscle groups with both exercises.
👍This video is one example of how I might use one on an upper body day. The first exercise is a DB Floor Press (an upper body “push” movement) and the second is a seated Spud Inc Cable Row (an upper body “pull” movement).
🚨Many options exist. Below are some simple examples of how to use them. Pair one exercise in group “A” with one in group “B”.
