On Tuesday evening was our third chapter of our Warhammer 40,000 campaign and we had one the most intense games in our society! 😁
The Blood Angels just had to get the objective off the board to win and most of their forces were destroyed!
What was between the Captain and the Guard forces was a Death Company Dreadnought 😱 the Guard just had to destroy the Dreadnought, then kill the Captain, securing victory!
The Dreadnought was destroyed... The Captain was reduced to one wound... Just one more gun left which was a Autocannon... It got one wound!... A 4+ Invulnerable save was required for victory!
A 50% chance for both players to win!
Both players hands were shaking!
And the Blood Angels got a 4, winning the day!
Unbelievable! What an astonishing game! Hopefully we'll see more games like this in the future!
And to both of the players, they agree that this was possibly their best Warhammer game!

Next combat squad for my Blood Angels nearly ready for paint. These are based on the army from WD139 - the inspiration is at the top of the picture.
