Blissology Project Day 5 ✌️💗⚡️

This morning I poked at the edges of my comfort zone as I committed to doing a Facebook Live Active Meditation and Energy Work practice. Before I made the post to announce my intention last night, all sorts of voices spoke to try to dissuade me. 👿
.
“You don’t have the time to do this. Why are you putting this pressure on yourself?” Worry said. 🙁
.
“You’re not experienced enough to do this. You’ll just make a fool of yourself.” Fear said. 🤨
.
All of the voices clashed to provide reasons why this was a bad idea. But an intuition in my gut said, “I have the time. You’re more than ready. Let’s do this!” ☺️
.
When I walked up towards the grassy knoll that would be my filming location, I didn’t feel ready at all. My usual morning routine was thrown off by going on technology first thing. I didn’t get in my own energy practice. My teaching voice was not activated. There was some unresolved energy causing me anxiety. Yet - I pushed the play button and did it. 🤭
.
The practice was certainly not perfect. I didn’t feel as embodied and confident as I would have liked. I repeated words and didn’t utilize active language to its fullest. But what I did do is got towards Fear. I am grateful I have played at my edges through this whole experience with the Blissology Project. And that’s all this event is really about. Igniting growth and evolution within us to awaken a deep joy inside! 😊🌟💗

Blissology Project Day 3 ✌️❤️⚡️

We’re a couple days deep into the Blissology Project! The purpose of the event is to make happiness a habit through incorporating 6 Big Easy Bliss Commitments into our lives. It’s been awesome to see people from all over the world participating and the community of kindred spirits on a similar journey that has formed. 🌎✨
.
There has been a lot of Bliss, Love, and Light created already, yet in my own journey I’ve also encountered some challenges. 😇😈
.
I am apart of the Bliss Team managing the Blissology Project. There are so many nuances to running a global event that it has take up a lot of my time and energy. I’ve enjoyed it immensely as I feel I’ve grown in a multitude of ways and I’m creating something to help others do the same. ⚡️
. 
But even with a well structured and balanced life plan it has been difficult to fit in the quantity of yoga I usually enjoy in my life. As well, there have been sparse moments to savour extended time out in nature or to sit in quiet meditation. 🧘‍♂️
.
But it is a choice I made to commit to launching this event and I knew there would be sacrifices. Overall if feels incredible to be in service to so many people around the world. And I’m grateful that over the years I’ve cultivated a strong practice of being able to balance my movement and nutrition needs despite a busy schedule. 🙏
.
In anything worth pursuing in life the Light and Shadow will always be present. I embrace the evolution of being that is occurring in myself and so many others. 👻🌟

DAY 1 OF THE BLISSOLOGY PROJECT ❤

Today I completed all 6 bliss commitments. 
1 & 2. Yoga & Mediation - I practiced a 1 hour hot yoga class with my friend Arnold. We had a long Shavasana where I meditated and my mind got quiet. Then we ended the practice with practicing handstands (my goal this year is to become a pro handstander). 3. Nature appreciation - I witnessed a MASSIVE  eagle on my walk along the Poco River with my two dogs this afternoon. I've never seen an eagle that close. He sat on the branch for a minute and then spread it's huge wings and flew off. It was the best nature appreciation moment I could of asked for. 
4. Food awareness - I had a super healthy plant based bean/mushroom soup for lunch, home made and eaten with my friend Alex. Food is best when shared. 
5. Gratitude - This one is big for me today as I spent a couple of hours at the hospital asking people what they feel grateful for. 
By just stopping and talking to strangers and asking them this question I had the most incredible, deep and inspiring conversations you couldn't even imagine. One of the first answers I got was: " I'm grateful to be alive". Imagine this, so simple, yet that is truly something we all should be grateful for every darn day. Life is a gift ♡ 
I'll share more about this later.
Today I'm grateful for: 
1. Being alive.
2. The people I connected with today who opened up and shared their stories & what they're grateful for with me. People are awesome. They really are.
3. The eagle I witnessed in the woods this afternoon, I've never seen an eagle that close. I felt like I was in Harry Potter or something 🙈 I'm also very grateful for my friend Alex and Arnold who I shared some of my day with today. One more thing: Feeling the sun on my skin for the first time in weeks!! 🌞

6. Compliment somebody - I complimented a 42 year old man in the elevator at the hospital. " you have a cool hat, I like it". He thanked me and told me where he got it. Then he said "I like your back pack, and your beautiful long golden hair". We chatted for about 10 minutes and he is in the "What are you grateful for movie" that I'll be sharing at the end of this week.

Blissology Project - 6 Big Easy Bliss Commitments 💗⚡️

When I reminisce about this photo I am reminded how I felt at this moment in time. I was on lunch break from my Blissology Superflow training and decided to venture to the beach. 🏖
.
With billions of sand particles beneath me I flowed through a simple yoga sequence in reverence to the late summer sun. Fuelled with the energy to move by the beams of light and the nourishing salad I had just ate. Eventually the movement slowed until it matched the stillness within. I sat on the beach with only my breath to deepen the experience. With a heart full of joy I raised my joined hands in gratitude. 🙏🧘‍♂️🥗🌞
.
The Blissology Project is all about creating experiences like this where we’re able to deepen the joy within us. The core of it is the 6 Big Easy Bliss Commitments:
1. Yoga
2. Meditation 
3. Nature Appreciation

Blissology Project 🧘‍♀️❤️🧘‍♂️✨

The Blissology Project incorporates all the elements that have created radical change in my life. Less than a decade ago I was severely sick with Ulcerative Colitis. This left me physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually devastated. Void of the spark of life I didn’t want to go on living. But a voice kept saying, “Just stick around a little longer. I promise it will get better.” 😥😷
. 
Soon this voice delivered on its word by introducing me to yoga. This practice filled my life with a type of holistic medicine that seemed to alleviate the anxiety of unresolved emotions. As I delved deeper into the other elements that compliment yoga so well: meditation, nature appreciation, food awareness, gratitude - I began to feel whole for the first time. A genuine love for my life filled me up, the Joy Body became my resting state of being. 🧘‍♂️🙏💓

This is WHY I feel so compelled to share the Blissology Project with as many people as possible. It contains all of these elements as its core foundation. The 6 Big Easy Bliss Commitments are:

The evolution of Time always astounds me. It was only half a year ago when Eoin (@blissology) and Insiya (@yogue8) sat down with me at a small cafe in Canggu Bali to discuss doing some work for Blissology. At our meeting we discussed resurrecting a piece of Eoin’s life work called the Blissology Project. 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

“The Blissology Project is all about making happiness a habit to create an Upward Spiral of positivity for yourself and to others around you,” Eoin said. “There are six commitments to practice everyday to free yourself of negative thinking and to open your heart to fall even more deeply in love with your life. It would be awesome to run the next one in the New Year.” 🤙⚡️

At the time I remember thinking, “This would be so rad to be apart of. And we have so much time to properly plan and get all the pieces in order.” ⏰🙏

But as is the case with all projects the time has flown by and we’re about to launch the Blissology Project soon! It’s taken a whole team to organize: Eoin, Insiya, Kat (@katarrrrina), Ellie (@eleanormercado), and countless Bliss Army Teachers (@blissarmy). But the pieces are in place and we just need dedicated souls to commit to radical life transformation. 💗💥
