I deliberately left the part of the video in where we needed to take a few seconds in between because our shoulders felt like they were about to fall off...and that’s ok! I had 3 convos with 3 different women about how intimidated they are to go to the gym in general and 1 specifically said this gym I currently go to.
I’m gonna have an honest moment and say that I live 5 mins away from this gym and for a while, I preferred to drive half hr to another gym because I was also very intimidated. Everyone here is SO FIT and I thought I would go here, amongst whom I considered to be the fitness elites (no really!) and just look like a total joke!
After months, I finally decided to suck it up because it was obviously more convenient to go here, but also because I realised that I AM in fact going to the gym to continuously challenge myself and to better myself and therefore it SHOULD always be a struggle and it SHOULD always take me out of my comfort zone.
On that note, it took me a while to feel the way I do now. Everyone has insecurites. If you dont, all power to you...but for my ladies in general, i KNOWWW we sit infront of the mirror some days and rip ourselves apart about everything and nothing!!! But today I had to reflect on if I was doing my part to ensure I don’t fuel anyone’s insecurities even more... it’s obvious that our eyes will wander... but if someone notices you’ve been staring at them, give them a reassuring smile so that they don’t automatically assume you’re staring for a negative reason. You’d be surprised by how much of a difference that makes!
I love this industry so much because it’s so much more than just helping to transform ppl’s bodies...you get to help transform minds as well. It’s crazyyyy how negatively females especially speak about themselves and each other! I think we should all do our parts in trying to put a stop to that.

Leg laying curls: 4 sets 17 reps 30 lb weight
Bench press: 4 sets 7 reps 95 lb weight
Jack knife: 4 sets 15 reps
