What goes down. Must come up.
Riders make use of the fast descent out of the community of Edgemont before turning right to tackle the beastly climb that is Roseboro Road’s 7.1 miles and 2,329 feet of elevation that takes participants up to the Blue Ridge Parkway during the Bootlegger 100 bike race, Saturday, April 21, 2018. Presented by Pisgah Productions, the Bootlegger 100 is a bike race through the gravel roads of the Grandfather District of Pisgah National Forest. Starting and ending in downtown Lenoir, the race trudges through more than 100 miles of gravel and paved roads while climbing more than 10,000 feet in elevation.
