Yesterday #Bexhill#College hosted the area primary schools girls' #football finals ⚽👧. We welcomed over 80 #students from Sandown Primary School, Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Ark Blacklands Primary Academy, Chantry Comunty Primary School, Little Common School, Hollington Primary Academy, Robsack Wood Primary Academy, Silverdale Primary Academy and St Thomas' Church Of England Aided Primary. To read more about the event, visit the news section on our website our website.
John Finnemore makes a 'Flying Visit' to the White Rock Theatre on Sun 20 May. With the help of special guests from 'Souvenir Programme', John will be performing brand new sketches, some old favourites and - unless someone can stop him - quite possibly a song. Plus a live stage appearance from Cabin Pressure’s Arthur Shappey: the most cheerful, least helpful steward in the skies. Kids welcome, so long as they laugh in the right places. Actually, that goes for adults too.
Do you ever just trawl through the satellite Google Maps and drive to interesting looking places? 🙌
We'd heard whispers about an ethereal looking waterhole when we were travelling through the Byron Bay area, and just had to see this place for ourselves!
Check out that gorgeous colour! 😍
Over the years, there have been newspaper articles advising against swimming in the water. But in 2018, Southern Cross University found the water to have a pH 4.1, which is only slightly more acidic than the Australian & New Zealand Guidelines that recommend only swimming in water that's pH 5.0 - 9.0. The water is apparently so pristine that there is hardly any algae or bacteria present, which is why the water can't buffer itself to a more neutral pH.
However, the turquoise water is due to very high levels of trace minerals, particularly aluminium, iron, manganese and zinc.
So swim at your own discretion, but we thought it was worth a dip to go a little bit loopy 😉

We will be very sad to see George leaving us tomorrow to move up north with his family.
George has been a part of our Cafe staff for the past 2 years. He started as part of the house keeping team and moved on to work behind the bar, which he really enjoyed.
Apart from customer service George enjoys photography. You can follow his page @georgenicholas__ to see his work.
We are sure he will be missed by our customers too. Especially @bexhillseagarden
Good luck George, you will be missed!
So I know, I know we’ve already celebrated our anniversary with some wedding photos... but on our way home from Margate on Monday. Una conveniently woke from her nap and got mad at car journeys just as we got near Bexhill. So what better then to carry on our family tradition of a photo on our anniversary weekend at the place we got married! \\
This year we let the girls join in one and they did us SO proud with their awesome poses!!! Scroll along to see us age over the last six years!!!!
