Good morning guys!!! Now today I’ve started my morning with one of my favourite breakfasts. I usually start off by thawing 80g frozen strawberries and blueberries in a microwave for about 1min 30. Then I weigh out 60g rolled oats add to a saucepan, with 210ml of unsweetened unroasted almond milk. Now whilst this is cooking over the hob I weigh out 20g chocolate whey protein and leave in the bottom of the bowl. Once my oats are cooked and are looking creamy, I’ll add the oats on top of the protein and mix all together. Then to finish it off I’ll top my chocolate oats with my mixed berries 😍🤩 and of course I need my morning cappuccino to start my day off right! If you all didn’t already know I’m a bit of a coffee addict at the moment and couldn’t get through my day without one 👀 give this recipe ago if you love porridge. I find by mixing the protein powder in this way I don’t get lumps and chunks of powder - we all know how awful it tastes when you do! Yep, I'm a blueberry addict. I love blueberries . More than strawberries to be honest. But that you shouldn't say. Out loud.Summer and strawberries goes hand in hand. And fitness. Instagram tells you that. That If you eat strawberries it's summer. You'll feel fresh. And You'll get fit. Because you're probably a healthy person. But I prefer strawberries on my cake. I'm not a fit person. I run after my kid these days. Not at the gym. Or just for fun. Or peace of mind. Those days are over. I maximum lift about 11.5 kilos. When i lift my daughter. Which I do. A LOT. But I do like blueberries for breakfast. And snacks. It's not often you get disapointed in blueberries. Not like you can in a strawberry when every other are too sour or taste like water. Or dirt. When you're really unlucky? -Mold. So I choose blueberries. Store bought when I'm home. Or pick them myself when we're at our summer house. But I do have a delicious strawberry cake that is coming up this summer. Midsummer to be more accurate.
