Hotel Roter Adler - Berlin, 1902
this beautiful Jugendstil building is just beside the Quartier Schützenstraße, that steals the scene 😁
I did some researching and I found out that the owner of the building Emil Vogt was forced to sell it only one year after its construction; during its troubled life it has been domicile for an insurance company, headquarter of the criminal division of the court of appeal, construction office of the DDR and hotel. Not sure what's in there now, probably offices, let me know if someone knows it!
Neue Kirche - Berlin, rebuilt from 1977 to 1988
Neue Kirche means "New Church", but this is actually not a religious building anymore. In 1943 the Neue Kirche was almost completely destroyed by the bombings, now it hosts the Bundestag's museum on Germany parliamentary history.
