How many reps is that? 😏
42.5kg for 5. My PB is 47.5kg with room to go up BUT mental blockage! I need to buy some 1kilo plates & work on that!
Happy with this PR, felt tight & controlled after weeks without benching.
Again, pretty hard to work out right now with having Shingles & being on morphine but I really needed to & it’s nice to get a PR!
Gonna relax a bit & focus on getting better before I start my programme again.

It's been a wild year here in Vancouver. Made some major changes; made bigger commitments to a lot of previous decisions that I thought might be temporary; left anything that couldn't feed this version of me that I was stepping into.
I am an ever evolving woman, so who knows what's to come.
All I know, is that I feel more whole than I ever have. I feel joyous. I feel peaceful, and on track - whatever that means.
I'm finally starting to feel right, calling Vancouver my home. One of the many homes that builds this whole being that I live so fiercely as.
@brywonglifts for all your aesthetic IG photog needs. 📸
celebrating the last day of classes for my dietetic internship and successfully presenting my major case study with a #bench PR 😁 190x2x3 with the looongest grind of my life after not benching for 2 weeks, i’ll take it 🙌🏼 @danimals415
BODY UPDATE: ⠀⠀
🔹 161cm 🔹 58kg 🔹 16% B.F ⠀⠀
Sometimes progress is slow, and you just have to trust yourself and be patient 🤔. I was lost in terms of building a physic that I was staisfied with.. to be honest I struggle to accept my body and I’m sure many others do too. However, I overcame this from setting achievable goals, working towards them and gaining the results I wanted. Only in this did I find some sort of satisfaction and sense of comfort and confidence. I AM HAPPY with where I am, from here only onwards & upwards 👊🏻stay strong ladies & gents 🌟
Not going to lie, I am pretty proud of myself. After a debacle of a training session last friday I was able to come in and knock out these sets. RPE went up one from first set to last but we got the work finished.

On the road to WABDL Rocky Mountain Regional Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 16.
@billycaughey was benching tonight. He was pretty frustrated with last week, so he took another run at 235 this week. He did a great job and getting it done. He did mention next week @bcaughey will need to come to put on gear. His forearms were fried after pulling on shirts. He also mentioned he felt off balanced on the second set. He will work on that!
Big shout out to @tridentstrengthsystems for the elbow sleeves. Billy enjoys them. He let a friend use them and they were stretched since his friend's arms are bigger than his. He will be ordering new sleeves tonight... Along with knee sleeves!
Instead of picking out my weaknesses, I’ll highlight them in a positive way. My legs and the loose skin will always probably stand out to me. When someone compliments me, my immediate thought is to respond with pointing out a negative point in my body instead of accepting and absorbing their kindness, like somehow if I respond with negativity it’ll tip the scales and the compliment was more earned. It’s actually such bullshit. 🤷🏻♀️ I work too hard to sit and stare at my body and hate it for what it isn’t instead of celebrating it for what it is, and that is strong. I am strong. I also happen to have loose skin, and scars and cellulite and dimples and bruises and all of those things are a byproduct of my body’s strength. Not a justification to counter-balance kind words. 🙏🏻#selflove
❌⬇️ fat reduction machines and medical procedures CAN’T promise this! ⬇️ ❌
There are A LOT of medical procedures out there for a “quick” and “easy” way to lose weight. ❌
The problem is, people are forking out THOUSANDS $$$ for these procedures which will most likely have long term side effects. 😱
And it’s really sad that society and the media are promoting these procedures!
What kind of example does that give to our younger generation? 😕
The EASIEST “procedure” to lose weight is the traditional way, getting the RIGHT nutrition and exercise in daily!
Benefits of our “procedure”:
❇️ IMPROVE FITNESS LEVELS ❇️ LONG TERM RESULTS 🙌 ❇️ IMPROVED MINDSET - CONFIDENCE & POSITIVITY ❇️ INCREASED ENERGY DAILY 😁
❇️ SUPPORT FROM A STRONG COMMUNITY AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS! 👨👱♀️🧓👩 Our clients are getting results for the long term, they are reaping the rewards from putting in the commitment and determination.
And this has effected their day to day life where they are performing better not just in the gym but at work and home as well.
AND they are motivating others around them, they are setting the standard and inspiring others to make the same changes.
It comes down to one decision, which direction will you go in?
