I don’t know whether I’ve made this decision because of our wedding, or whether I just feel a bit urgh. But I’ve decided that I need to be a bit more active/proactive. Having an office space, that literally costs a small fortune, I feel like I have to spend every living minute working from it. And although it’s big, and pretty lovely if I do say so myself, it’s not always overly inspiring. I get my inspiration from speaking to people, seeing random things, and being out and about. I actually feel such a buzz after a productive day. But that productive day would include a lot of running around to different places too. I just don’t seem to get the same buzz being productive sitting from my office chair all day. So I’ve decided to move more. I live 0.5 miles from my office. I also live only 1.5 miles from Chiswick High Street. So I’ve decided one day a week, I’m going to walk to the high street. Perhaps have a coffee, perhaps work in High Road House, perhaps visit my flower man. I can then either walk or catch the bus (weather dependant of course) to the office. And still spend 7-8 hours there. But with the inspiration that I really need to keep me going through the day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oo and don’t worry, these flowers aren’t an actual bunch. That would be an off combination. The Astilbe and Euc is for home. The rest for the office.

What an awesome running coaching session with @bemoreactive.kengilbert in #London last weekend.
Since I had my knee injury 8 years ago, running became a painful activity which I ultimately avoided for a long time.
After this coaching session, I now believe that with his help I’ll get back to running even better than I ever used to. It is now a matter of time and dedication but I look forward to the journey and doing the work.
I can only be thankful and grateful for crossing paths.
Do you ever feel like you’ve let yourself down? This is me at age 3, when I think of my life, for the most part I’ve been happy with how I’ve lived my life. When I think of how I didn’t stay active tho, and allowed myself to get overwhelmed with life at times, I’m disappointed. That isn’t my nature, I’m a Scorpio. While I have always been one to follow the playbook, there are times I wish I hadn’t. I allowed myself to be used by people that claimed to care, even tho I knew they didn’t, I played along. Today, it ends. Los corredores (principiantes o elite) tenemos una característica en común y es que estamos completamente comprometidos con nuestro rendimiento, ganas de mejorar y sumar KMS, lo que nos lleva a seguir un entrenamiento completo y variado.
¿Conoces el TRX? ¿Es parte de tu entrenamiento? 🧐
Básicamente son ejercicios funcionales (en suspensión) que nos permite ejercitar todo el cuerpo, en distintas direcciones, activando constantemente el “CORE” (diafragma, suelo pélvico, músculos abdominales, lumbares y sus respectivos estabilizadores musculares) en consecuencia, el TRX mejora las capacidades básicas de todo ser humano: fuerza, velocidad, resistencia, etc. 💪🏃🏻♀️🏋🏻♀️
Lo mejor de todo es que puedes adaptar el equipo de suspensión y hacer estos ejercicios desde casa 🙌🏻 Para complementar mi plan de Running para mi próxima carrera #CorroPorLaTierra 🌳💚 mis favoritos son:

I hate cooking. Seriously. I get no joy out of it and I hate the clean up. But, lets be honest-meal prepping is key when my weeks get busy. With all of the stuff that I have going on, knowing that my meals are ready to go for the week saves a ton of frustration.
How simple is this meal? Protein, veggies, carbs. Thats all! Meal prepping does not have to be fancy or complicated! My goal this week is to get better at prepping my meals.
