My last few days have given me so much to think about. My moments away from social media and networking has made me realize many things; first of all how truly blessed I am to be surrounded by the most amazing friends whether its here in my hometown or on social media( thank you all for such kind words when I was struggling to find the strength these past several days) This time has made me realize my efforts going forward need to change. I have decided to continue to help on IG when I can, but changing my focus more to help the rescue I volunteer with along with helping the local shelter by my house. I have reached out to director there and will be helping their pups get more love and exposure. I apologize if I'm not able to assist with a request or help network a dog in need from another state. I will do my best or direct you to someone that might be able to help(I'm tired of some people demanding I reply immediately when I have other commitments) I cannot continue networking at the level and efficiently help locally. I feel jaded by what I see and what I know on a national level in regards to networking. I don't feel confident in rescues I don't know about that are getting these dogs and it makes me sick to imagine, just because they say 501.c or say Rescue means nothing to me. Thank you all for fighting and working tirelessly for the voiceless. I will never stop and I will never give up trying my best! Bless you all that fight for them💖 #betheirvoice#networkingsaveslives#AdoptDontShop#fosteradog#bekind
If they miss you they’ll call . If they want you , they’ll say it .
If they care, they’ll show it. . . .

Many years ago I had a conversation with my sister about my fear of raising children in this world.
Her response changed me. ‘The only way to change this world is to raise good human beings.’ We, as adults, are the role models to the younger generations. I am not a biological momma but I do my best to be the example to any child I encounter.
Our children are losing their innocence because we are allowing them to! We, the adults, need to start finding our inner child. Be silly. Explore the world. Give children the opportunity to explore the world. Laugh hard. Don’t put value on other’s opinions. Dance. Sing loudly and off key. Put the electronics down. Be present. Explain why. Exude goodness. Play with pom poms. Use toys to grow (hello breathing balls). Learn tools throughout life that will benefit our children. Tools like breathing, yoga, working out, meditation, floating, and being present. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Life is meant to be lived with fulfillment!
Our children are being raised in a fast-paced world where their innocence is being ripped from them. I try my darnedest to remind parents and children that having fun, being silly, learning, making mistakes, having energy, loving hard, being compassionate and growing is all part of life.
Let’s take the time to slow down. Put pom poms between our toes. Talk in a fun voice. Be extra animated. Laugh at yourself. Be the example. Leave adult talk for adult time.
Just a friendly reminder to slow down. Evaluate ourselves. Look at the children around you - most likely, they reflect who you are. #BeKind#BeSilly#ActLikeAKid#OurYouth#Children#Toega#Yoga#YogaForYourToes#PomPomPedicures#Move#Movement#Innocence#Love#Laughter#LifeWithPurpose#LiveWithIntention
"So today my sister Jane did an art lesson with my kids, not only did it bring such joy to the three kids as it was so different, painting plant pots and making their own chalk paint, decoupage on the pots I also got time to myself as a busy mum, watched two whole episodes of home and away and ate lunch BY MYSELF I then also got to do art too... BLISS !!" Thank you to Sarah for sending this in to us at KindStar. Small gestures like this can make a big difference to someone's day 🌟 Thanks for sharing 🌟

I’ve learned not to overlook the small, simple joys life has to offer, because in the end, it seems those become the most significant of things. I’ve learned to take nothing and no one for granted, as life can change in the matter of seconds. And mostly, I’ve learned to focus on the here and now. Because really, it’s all we have! Nothing in this life is guaranteed, so I’ve learned to live each day loving myself, being kind, focusing on the positive, and simply enjoying the little things! 😃😌😉😜☺️💖 #quoteoftheday#lifequotes#loveyourself#bekind#goodvibesonly#enjoythelittlethings#beherenow
