Do you suffer from dry/chapped lips? I know I do. Regardless of the weather, my lips are often chapped, even if I exfoliate and apply lip balm. You don't need to buy expesive products to cure your dry/chapped lips, everything you need is most likely sitting in your pantry. Today I combined two ingredients to create a lip mask. This lip mask left my lips feeling soft, silky and moisturised. To create this mask all you need is an organic oil (I used organic coconut oil) and organic honey. Mix equal amounts of honey and oil and apply directly on to your lips. Once you've applied the mask, cut out a small piece of plastic wrap and place it on top of your lips. The plastic wrap will stick onto the lip mask and it will help trap heat and moisture. Keep the lip mask on for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. I'm sure you'll feel and see the difference!
Tip: if your lipstick usually doesn't look smooth on your lips because they are chapped, applying this mask before you apply lipstick will help it apply smoothly and look better on your lips. 💋
Don't forget to exfoliate your lips often to get rid of dead skin. Personally, I love using @lush_ausnz lip scrubs to exfoliate my lips, but you can make your own lip scrub at home using a lemon and sugar.
