To support my new found addiction to the content in the final photo I am upping my HIIT training, rather unsteady on my feet this morning but in a rhythm and then bam💥. The rhythm of the jump carried through to jumping onto my hands on concrete.....but always the trooper I jumped up and went again! Hahaha! Too funny, every time I watch it I crack up! Turn up the volume!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Come experience how we work during the off season and take your training to the next level. Experience what college athletes go through at the next level‼️ Proof is with our college players who went on to have breakout seasons. @fiemeahafoka at @sanjosestatewbb SJSU where she started and lost 15lbs in ONE MONTH while she was home. @marvinsidon at @pennstatefayette where he led the conference in free throw percentage and I quote, “was in the best shape of his entire career,” this past season.
No time to waste. Summer is the time to SEPARATE YOURSELF.
I literally HIIT the beach today. Yesterday I shared a tip of doing what you love as a way to stick with healthy habits. Well I Looovvveee the beach and have had a hard time making it to the gym lately when the water is so beautiful and makes a great cool down for post workout.
Today's workout was done in a reverse pyramid style and really kicked my butt
In a great way. Felt amazing and full of endorphins at the end!
Here you go
10 summo squats with calf raise
Run all out 30 sec
20 incline pushups
30 high knees
40 front karate kicks
50 side kicks
60 Heel taps on back core work
70 Russian twists
80 mountain climbers
90 jumping Jacks
100 walking toe touches
Jump in the water and cool off
Walk back to start
Something about being on the beach in the evening feels so serene. I just feel at ease and peaceful after the business and craziness of living downtown. Brought my cardio session to the beach today which will be posted soon! Currently full of sand and ready for a shower and some food 🙌🏼 #cardioworkout#legday#beachworkout#humpday#workforit
I’ve been thinking on the concept of ‘home’ a lot recently. What does the question ‘where are you from?’ bring to the surface.
It’s an interesting question the more you think about it. Living in another country these last five years makes me respond with varying things. What do I consider to be ‘home’? Is it where I was born? Is it where I spent most of my growing up years? Is it where I feel most grounded?
I don’t know that I believe in ‘home’ the way I once did. I’ve lived abroad now for five years and each time I return to the US my concept of ‘home’ has shifted into this word I can’t quite pinpoint the definition of.
This last trip home I found myself calling China home.
I don’t know how to make sense of it, because I suppose if we are to think more broadly on the subject, this concept of ‘home’ could be separated from the notion of “where you were, once,” to something a bit, I don’t know, more.
For me, Home is shape shifting. It is finding peace and stillness in a place that once felt chaotic and new. I am learning to embrace home wherever it is, because it is never the same. Even the places I once felt comfort and ease now feels like something different.
Taken by my sister, @downathedinghy on the east coast of Virginia, in the US. The place I once called home. ♥️
the girl has been sitting on my lap since 2010. you’d think she would find her own damn chair by now 🙄I hate that I’m so much closer to you but still so far away. mi amore my sweet, sick soul I love you more than you’ll ever know. shout out to you for always being down for whatever whether that be a 24 hour strip club in miami, introducing ourselves to everyone in sellers hall🤦🏿♀️or dying of laughter then immediately drowning in our feelings over bottomless mimosas in atlanta. thank you for being one of the first people to get me and love me for being me, until the mf world blow mi amore 😘😘
despite all the playing I did eventually get some type of a workout in today though, it was 84 degrees and I was dripping before I even got to the beach😩
future note to self ..definitely DON’T do push ups on hot ass concrete benches🙅🏿♀️
Don’t have a gym? Take your workout to the beach 💪🏼
No excuses 😤
Here’s a little video I filmed and put together of @etfitnesscoach and @clevs15
Still working on improving my video skills, but more to come!
happy hump day lovesss😘
after soooo many rainy days the sun finally came out to play and so did I! I’m the biggest child ever and thankfully there weren’t any actual children on the playground so I got to be queen of the playscape 😂😂🤦🏿♀️I’m four, it’s fine🙆🏿♀️
KOA = Warrior. I'm loving being at the beach even of it is just for one night for a work trip...peaceful and beautiful and good for the soul! 😍 so here is the "cricket bat" flow I did the other day with a 6kg kb. Still a lot of perfecting to do and still haven't got the coordination right haha (you can still see my brain doing overtime trying not to smash my own face in!) So much fun #goingwiththeflow ! ...... #flow#kbflow#kettlebell#kettlebellflow#flowspecialist#beachworkout#flowmofo

I woke up after a looong day of travel yesterday, completely drained. It’s amazing how sitting for hours can actually make you tired! Plus commotion of people and noises and changes, which is very Vata misbalancing according to #Ayurveda , and you’ve got a very tired and weak and cranky person today 😂 I’m on an actual training schedule for a #halfironman triathlon, and to be honest I’ve never followed a plan before for any of my races - and I don’t necessarily recommend it but it’s how I roll. I’m not looking at the Olympics so I don’t get so dramatic about my running and triathlon as some people I know (😝 athletes are very passionate). But as I’m teaching a full 200hr yoga training, my time, specially on weekends, is very limited and I have to get strict about training. Today was a 20m ride and 2m run day, but we woke up too late to make it before my 9am meditation class. So Acyuta, Zen and I just took off for the beach, did a very hard barefoot run in the soft sand, and immediately my day was perfect! I mean come on - look at this view! 🌴🌟 What a paradise...
