Into the Woods we Go!!🌲🌳🌲🌳
We started at Mt Robson to help with the cleanup/setup while our park was defrosting from all the late snow fall. .
Our next move is to head north west where we plan to work for the rest of the camping season. We had a lot of snow this season so we decided to enjoy some camping time at West Lake before we started work again for mid May.
West lake is located just west of Prince George BC. It has a day use park with sandy beaches, a group site and boat launch. This park is a natural wetlands and forest area where you are surounded by a variety of trees such as, lodgepole pine, aspen and white spruce.🌳🌲🌿
There's a 15km trail around the lake 🏃 and good sized rainbow trout for great fishing. 🎣
This weekend is a long weekend here in British Columbia where many campers start their camping season to celebrate Victoria Day on Monday. With mixed sun and rain everyone is having fun this weekend! 😀🏕
Did you go camping this weekend? If so, where did you go? .
Banana hats && slurpee tongues are where iTS at 🤪💜🤓🧜🏽♀️ MY iNFLATABLE iS STiLL AN iNFLATABLE! 🎉💜🙌 BAM! Yes, I’m aware it doesn’t take much to make me stoked- YOU SHOULD TRY iT! 🤓🎉🤪🦄 seriously... try it! I’ve been noticing some mad bunk vibes even around the fun zones yoe?!? (FYI I’m not usually a ball bustin ranter BUT this kinda had me twisted with the okanagan dudes) SO! We took out our zodiac on Kalamalka this weekend for it’s post patched up and project motor test run && it didn’t go as planned. No biggy- andii is on land with her inflatable kayak BUT pffft it won’t come down to that. Right? There’s about 30 other boats in range and easily in view who could be cute enough to check in... right? Few mins turn into a few more... noticing a bit of a struggle on that zodiac with no cigar. fak. Ooookay! Unfortunately with all the boat wash of all the other lakers it took me a min to get to the middle of the lake to rope that ass and help paddle it back ashore PADDLE IT BACK TO SHORE... passing other boaters, fishers, kayakers, SUPers... families playing along the trail... all watching a show. My daughter was on shore waiting and watching this whole thing cheering us on at least. She’s truly an adorable soul man. I am proud of what I have created and who she has made herself become. And I’m stoked that she has a new community that hopefully could take a lesson in her generation. Because I honestly don’t know what to say about the rest of the souls in that moment. Be sweet. Love each other && fuck yes help and care for one and other! Maybe we’re still too hippy dippy with rainbow thoughts from the island, I don’t know. But that behaviour would have been the ones straight up shunned by any islander if we saw any kind of remote struggle in our waters yoe... anyways 💜✌️ go spread some love today, please. 😘 happy Monday! #BCParks#KalamalkaLake#VernonBC#ColdstreamBC#YLW#Kelowna#Okanagan#OkanaganLife#LakeLife#Kayak#okanaganexplorers#vernonnow#route97
I'm currently in the middle of some post-traumatic growth (which is why I talk like a yoga instructor). There are days I still feel too afraid to leave the house; what pushes me out the door is the hope that I'll see something beautiful.
Today, the rhododendrons are blooming 😍
Met up with a friend in Revvy.
We went camping.
I woke up first.
Wandered through the woods.
Found this gem.
Did some yoga flows and meditation.
He found me.
We drove opposite ways.
Life of a ғʀᴇᴇ sᴘɪʀɪᴛ
Just another bit of trail where you can enjoy a zen moment while you race. .
