It's pouring outside, but it's #naptimehustle ! Starting to glue the mountains since everytime I hit it, it moves & I have to put my puzzle back together. 😏 I'm excited with how it's coming along. What do you use to help add weight?
Want another reason to #nevermissamonday ?!?
After that workout, I’m slowly finding my smile again! And I think I learned my trigger…
A lot of you know I struggle with some ‘yuck’ feelings from time to time. The best way I can describe it is a slight depressed-anxious-fearful feeling. It hits first thing in the morning. When the house is dark & quiet. Well, it seemed like forever since I had one. And then this morning it returned. As soon as my alarm went off, ouch. My heart hurt, I wanted to hit snooze, crawl back under the covers, and just deal with the world later. Why now? Why after months of feeling great did it return today? And then it hit me.
Confession time… my nutrition has been slacking. Once again I’m between programs and I’m letting my nutrition go a little. Too much sugar. Too much alcohol. See, for the last 3 months, my nutrition was ON POINT with an 80 days program I did. Meals all laid out, no sugar, no alcohol. Everything clean. Once the program was over and I knew I had some time until I started a new nutrition course today, I let my nutrition slide. I told myself I could take a ‘break’ before reining it in again. I enjoyed an extra dessert here and an extra cocktail there. Conclusion, I can’t. What I eat not only effects the shape of my body, my mindset, and my mood, but also my ‘yuck’ feelings.
So, now I have even MORE of a WHY to take care of ME. And I really have to make more of an effort between programs to keep things tighter. Not only will it make it easier to start the new program but it’ll keep the ‘yuck’ away and I’m all about that.
Thank Goodness It’s Monday, Friends! Know that we can #lovelife despite the ‘yuck’.

@reclaimedlivingstore we always luv the end product and this reclaimed barnwood/Tin Wall we did fantastic r one of our favorite clients looks like a rustic hunters man cave with his deer antler mounts displayed! Happy Monday on this rainy day!
I have received so many sweet messages about my new piece of furniture that I shared in my insta story, thank you! Rachel made this beautiful jewelry armoire wall mount for me. She used old barn wood and didn't paint a thing. She's so talented and makes dreams come to life in that cute wood shop of hers! She makes a number of unique household decor/furniture items and if you're WA local check her page out! This is a piece I will have for many years. Thank you, Rachel!
Side note, the photo sitting on top is from an early date with my now husband. He took me up to the snow, built a fire and we roasted marshmallows for a smores treat. The rest is history! 😍😍😍 Credits: @juliepricerealestate & @recreateddecor
• the good news is we had a great weekend •
The bad news is all good times have to come to an end. We had an amazing time re-opening #thegranaryshop , and spending quality time on the farm with family. Of course we took some #polaroid shots so we could treasure this moment forever. Keep an eye out for another opening!
Monday back in full swing! These bar back shelves and liquor cabinet were a fun build. The shelves were made with reclaimed red oak, and some shelves for the host station are made from reclaimed wood from the barn on site!
Our small half bath didn’t allow for much room for decor. This barn wood shelf full of so much character was just what it needed along with a quirky little sign🌿
