People have started to ask what my littlest eats (she's 10 months and still has ZERO teeth). I feed her anything basically just cut up. Swipe to see how much she'll eat at once.
Today so far she's had, eggs with s&p, pears, turkey and oranges, coconut yogurt and diced bell peppers.
The husband is making a thai pork dish over cauliflower rice tonight and I'm sure she'll eat that too.
We're starting to wean her off formula entirely by adding almond milk.
She will not take the oat milk that the dr would prefer so I'm thinking that once she's off formula all together at a year I may mix her almond milk with the oat milk and see how that goes.
She only has water otherwise.
[Day 17: 5/26/18].
- 7 tea spoons of grinder spinach, carrot and potato mix
- 2 tea spoons of rice soup
- 3 tea spoon of grinder apple plus 1 tea spoon of soy milk
It was super hot today! Koto didn’t cry during the meal for the first time! Maybe taking a little nap before was good to her. Today was also for the first time for her to try protein food! I added a spoon of soy milk in grinder apple👶👌🍎#babyfood#workingmom#nyc#organicbabyfood
The kid just basically isn't eating or sleeping well at all. Which means Mama isn't sleeping well. And which means the boy is fussy and clingy and high maintenance. I was able to get some meal prep done today. The lovely man is working his long week, so I'm basically on my own the next several days. Wish me luck.
@nomnompaleo Kahlua pork. Green beans with @txhillcountryoliveoil mandarin balsamic vinegar. And veggies (onion, garlic, carrot, and leek) and cheese, prepped for broccoli cheese soup.
Jelly Bean is getting ready to enjoy some avocado. Yes I actually serve her like that. I want her to love food always. And I think when healthy food or any food looks good and is served right it is desired. Do you ever serve your morning green juice in a martini glass? Or make other things look fancy when they don’t need to be? Or do you just think it’s crazy that I would do this for a six month old? I’d love to hear what you do.

Yesterday was abit of a funny day, I slept in so Halle’s daddy made her breakfast but forget to take a photo 🤦🏽♀️ (avocado on toast, kiwifruit, cereal) then he went of to football early, Halle and I had lunch together then went and watched his game and then we were out for dinner.
She ate all the rice cakes at lunch yesterday, and most of her veg, wasn’t really interested in the prunes, she tried one pulled a face and then threw it 🤷🏻♀️ at breakfast she loved the pears and toast but didn’t eat much cereal.
First time eating solids! Any guesses on what he had?! We were waiting til he was 6 months old (2 weeks shy) but I had a nasty stomach virus that depleted my supply significantly last week. So as I work on getting it back up we decided to add some solids. Can’t believe he is already this big!!! I love experiencing each new first with him! #keeganjames#momlife#boymom#milestones#babyfirsts#breastfeeding#solidfood#babyfood

Very affordable for everyone
I’ve shared this two ingredient pizza dough recipe before, but thought I would again as it’s a game changer!!
As the name would suggest, the pizza dough has, quite literally, only has two ingredients... flour and yoghurt!
It’s super quick as the dough doesn’t need to be left to prove. To make things EVEN easier, the ingredients for the dough are at a really simple ratio... twice the flour to the yogurt... so you can use whatever measuring system you want (cups, grams, ozs, drams!) and you can increase or decrease the quantity you want without having to faff around with calculators.
The ingredients and quantities I used for the dough today were...
- 1 cup of self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup of natural (or Greek) yoghurt
- Plus extra flour for dusting
Before starting, preheat your oven to 240’C and put your baking tray or pizza stone in the oven to heat up.
To make the dough, mix the flour and yoghurt together in a bowl with a spoon. Once mixed, tip the dough onto a floured surface and lightly knead, adding extra flour or yoghurt as required, until the dough is no longer sticky.
Shape and roll the dough into the sizes you want, place on the hot baking tray which has been warming in the oven (this will help to ensure you get a nice crispy well-cooked pizza base). Then top with whatever sauce and toppings you fancy.
I made a variety of toppings today...
- traditional tomato: with chopped tomatoes, tomato purée, oregano, garlic plus some grated carrot and courgette for extra veggie goodness, then topped this with cheddar and mozzarella
- ‘supergreen’: made of grated courgette, chopped leek, spinach, parsley, mint (all sautéed in a little oil until soft) then stirred through with cream cheese and topped this with cheddar and mozzarella
- a sweet topping: of Greek yoghurt and strawberry chia jam
Bake in the oven for approximately 10-15 minutes - cooking time will vary depending on the size of your pizzas so keep an eye on them.
Eat fresh, refrigerate or freeze
