Fyto-oestrogenen is een verzamelnaam voor plantaardige stoffen die sterk lijken op het vrouwelijk geslachtshormoon oestrogeen. De productie daarvan neemt af tijdens de overgang, wat kan leiden tot klachten. Fyto-oestrogenen kunnen deze klachten verminderen. Coriander is a tropical crop and can be successfully cultivated as a rabi season crop in an area free from severe frost during February when the crop flowers and sets its seeds.
Cineole, one of the 11 components of the essential oils, and linoleic acid are both present in coriander, and they possess antirheumatic and antiarthritic properties. 
The disinfectant, detoxifying, antiseptic, antifungal, and antioxidant properties of coriander are ideal for clearing up skin disorders such as eczema, dryness, and fungal infections.
Citronellol, a component of essential oils in coriander, is an excellent antiseptic. Additionally, other components have antimicrobial and healing effects which keep wounds and ulcers in the mouth from worsening.
It is high in iron content, which directly helps people who suffer from anemia.

Over the weekend I had an opportunity to immerse myself in an Intro to Ayurveda training and am now completely fascinated by this sister science to yoga. Porridge réconfortant, crémeux et très gourmand. Un peu trop même, j’ai eu les yeux plus gros que le ventre 🙈 Comme j’ai préparé un bol un peu plus rempli que d’habitude, j’ai incorporé des épices notamment de la cannelle et surtout du gingembre pour soutenir mon Agni. Je vous donne ma recette: 1/2cup (40g) de gros flocons d’avoine, 1 cup (250ml) de lait d’amande non sucré, 1 tbsp de sirop d’érable, 1 tbsp de coco râpée, 1/8 tsp de gingembre en poudre, 2 pincées de cannelle, 2 pincées de vanille, 2 pincées de muscade. En pratiquant "l'alimentation consciente", je n'ai pas pu faire autrement que de me rendre compte que le café, ça ne me va pas du tout. Quand je pense que j'en buvais une cafetière par jour avant... C'est complètement crayzé! J'en bois encore des fois, mais je m'assure qu'il sera exceptionnellement bon, que ça vaille la peine, parce que les effets secondaires sont assez déplaisants... Palpitations, anxiété, colère, inflammations diverses... Mais généralement, je me garoche sur un chaï ou matcha qu'on retrouve pas mal partout, c'est moins pire mais ils contiennent quand même de la caféine. Mais là, j'ai profité de mon heure de diner pour essayer le nouveau @quebudcafe qui vient d'ouvrir dans le local du feu resto Les Barbares sur St-Denis et eux ils offrent plusieurs options de breuvages sans caféine dont, entre autre, du "lait d'or". Ça tombe bien, j'étais justement en train d'étudier la nutrition Ayurvédique juste en face, à @espace_ayurveda alors j'ai opté pour l'option "full concept"! J'adore cet endroit. Ils en ont fait un lieu magnifique, plein de plantes, où on nous sert des snacks vegan et bio vraiment abordable. C'est aussi un lieu d'échanges et d'informations concernant les effets des plantes, plus particulièrement du cannabis, sur la santé. J'ai pas eu le temps d'explorer le sujet pendant mon break, va falloir j'y retourne!

En esta ocasión repasamos los 5 elementos 💫🌪🔥💧🌍, los 3 #doshas y la constitución personal. Para seguir profundizando en los 6 sabores y la #energía de los alimentos. Vimos como cada sabor nos influye a nivel emocional y que efectos tienen si los tomamos en equilibrio y en exceso (amor-apego, motivación-ira, bienestar-tristeza...) Y también analizamos y aprendimos que alimentos nos aportan más cantidad de #prana o energía vital (como los #germinados de la foto 🌱) y que #guna o cualidad energética tiene cada tipo de alimentos. #Satwa 🍏#rajas 🌶 y #tamas 🍟. Y todo ello disfrutando de deliciosas recetas 😋 para tener una alimentación más consciente y que nos aporte salud y vitalidad.
