A basket of beautiful Pine cones collected from the garden, from a Himalayan Cedar tree-(to the best of my knowledge).
Tie any type of pine cone off with red ribbon - I used some upcycled wool blanket offcuts. Hang in each window of your home, to provide protection from negative energy entering. Cedar & Cypress are especially indicted for use in protection rituals. Pine associated with purification. A perfect Autumn activity to herald in the coming of the colder seasons. It also smells divine as the sun warms the pinecones hanging in the windows. ✨🌲❤️🌲✨ #pinecones#seasonaltable#naturecraft#protection#cedar#wheeloftheyear#autumncrafts#wisecraft#ancestralknowledge
I didn't have the chance to share this last week, but this #eastercraft was popular all over Instagram, probably because it was so simple and effective!
We are keeping an eye out for the leaves to start changing and dropping to get stuck into some #autumncrafts but this warm weather is still sticking around!
Happy Easter from the Harris mob! The mr & I are currently clinging to the couch, coffee in hand after staying up til the wee hours of the morning because certain little people wouldn’t stay asleep and then woke at 4am which was really 3am thanks to daylight savings finishing 😳😩😬 but I’m cherishing every coffee...I mean moment because I know it won’t last for much longer. May your day be filled with all the Easter magic, copious cups of coffee and chocolate coma’s. 😁🐇🍫🥚☕️ #happyeaster @creativelysquared @ferrerorocheraunz #cs_egghunt2018
We spent yesterday afternoon dyeing eggs with turmeric, blueberries and other assorted natural ingredients. The whole process was a little long winded for Bo but he’s finally happy now that Ive handed him a sharpie and let him have free reign on these beautiful eggs. 🙄☺️ #eastercrafting @creativelysquared @ferrerorocheraunz #cs_egghunt2018
Celebrating the Autumn Equinox at our place today. We have been so sick this past week and a half and it disrupted our plans for celebration. We were planning on harvesting the last of the berries and creating some jams as well as attending a wonderful pick your own organic corn and tomato day but instead we have been looking after ourselves. These are some of the nature treasures we managed to collect throughout the last couple of days and over the next two days we will be creating some wonderful crafts like acorn people and pinecone pets that I will upload as we go. I've also included one of my favourite reference books 🍂🍁🌰✌🏼
A certain bunny keeps reminding me that its only 11 days now to mr.E visits. I’m still cherishing the fact that they whole heartedly believe and absolutely adore keeping the magic alive for as long as I possibly can. And Bo, well he’s trying to figure out how many extra chocolate eggs he’ll get with all the extra rooms we now have from the reno. 😆✨🐰 #alltheeasterfeels
🐙Sea creature leaves🐙 Today, A wanted to cut out the leaves from our laminated sun catchers, and I couldn’t resist #googlyeyes Don’t they look like some deep sea creatures? Or maybe a bird on the left there?! A is rapt with his stingrays. What do you see? 👀 #ilovegooglyeyes#autumncrafts
I’ll be honest I’ve kinda been turning a blind eye to all the Easter eggs in the shops and just have “No” on repeat as the littles beg for all the chocolate but with only 14 days til mr.E visits I think its best to bring on the Easter feels! And what better way than to start with a little #flashback to last years Easter crafting with the littles. 🐇🐓🥚#cs_egghunt2018 @creativelysquared @ferrerorocheraunz

I have packed away my handmade autumn felt garland this weekend to make way for our Christmas tree and other decorations. I finished this garland about two weekends ago and with a final few minutes of weekend light left today I managed to capture it before it was packed away ready for next year. At a time when I feel that so many things are left incomplete and my bigger projects are on pause I needed to prove to myself that I can still complete things and connect to that feeling of satisfaction when it is done #autumndays#autumnleaves#autumncrafts#autumnfeltleaves#autumnalcolours#simplesunday#handmade
