This is so relevant to me right now, on so many levels. Not just in fighting for autism support services, but in my personal life too. I have lost my inner peace these last few months, definitely time to dig it out again!
If 5 years ago you had told me I was swallowing (what I perceived to be) an injustice and was stepping down from the fight, I would have you said you were mad. Because I never give up.
But a wise old fool said to me today that real strength is knowing when it's time to step back and take a breath... (thanks Dad 😊). I hope your Tuesday has gone well lovely people! And that Wednesday brings you happiness 💖 And cake. Always let tomorrow bring cake 🍰

I was having a pretty tough morning today. I reached out to my team saying I needed some encouraging words, and then I realized that’s a “pity me” post and I ain’t about that🙅🏽♀️ The whole purpose of my UPCOMING SELF LOVE EXPERIMENT is to put yourself first. You don’t need to be ashamed for having a bad day- you just need to acknowledge it, move on, and take the necessary steps to prepare for a better day tomorrow. Just a reminder that enrollment is OPEN for this one of a kind group and spots are filling up fast. Message me to reserve your spot today💕

‘Did you say ‘Mama?” 5-year-old with nonverbal #autism says first word, surprising parents.
Taylor's brain processes information differently than most. She has been in speech therapy since she was 3. Much to Taylor's mom's surprise, Taylor said her first word last month. Taylor said 'Mama' while they were waiting in a drive-thru.
"I heard her say it, and I whipped around, and I'm just like, 'Did you just say Mama?' And she said it again. And I was like, 'Oh my God!'" Visit our Facebook page for the full story.
