I don’t know if this translates into the photos but this Organic Cotton Sateen quilt is so soft and squishy and satiny smooth and just delightful 💙 🍂 A mad rush to capture photos of my work as I run to the post office today... is it just me or does the day speed up between 3 & 4pm? I swear that hour only lasts half an hour 🤔😂
Botanicals are innately rich in nutrients which is why we use them as the key building blocks of all our formulas. In Australia, our native plants have evolved to withstand the harsh climate by producing highly concentrated phytoactives to shield against sun-induced oxidative stress. Consequently, organic wild-harvested Australian botanicals, which offer superior antioxidant protection, feature in all our products.
My @sandandskyaus Pink Clay Mask came today from the @birchboxuk online store! 🌸
I’d sampled this mask before in a tester version and it’s only been a matter of time since I bought the full size!
Until tomorrow the Birchbox online store has a mystery discount promotion, which means that I got this mask for £27.13 instead of £39.90💸💸💸 With the mask you can detoxify and brighten your skin. It also tightens pores, combats pollution and strengthens natural defences (according to the website)
All I can attest to is that it feels like a quality mud mask, which instantly makes my skin feel brighter. It only takes 10 minutes so it’s super easy to introduce into my routine on a weekly basis. My skin feels softer and cleaner so it’s a win from me. The brand is also cruelty free 🐰
I’ve also noticed that Sand+Sky have just launched an exfoliator with their signature Australian Pink Clay which looks exciting, it’s definitely on my to-buy list!
Each little tub comes with a cute mini mask brush so the mask goes on evenly 💪🏻 I appreciate it’s definitely on the pricey side of mud masks compared to the ones out there at the moment, but I really enjoy the natural feel of this mask and the way it makes my skin look. I love products where you can see a difference straight away, and I feel like this is definitely one of those.
I hope you all enjoy the picture of me in a crumbling mask 👀😂 🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃

"Pussy willow’s beauty is almost mammalian. As shaggy as the mythical Vegetable Lamb of Tartary, willow buds emerge covered in dense woolly fur, as soft as a kitten’s paws. In fact willow flowers are called “catkins” — a botanical term derived from the Old Dutch word for kitten, “katteken,” basically a long inflorescence packed with many tiny flowers." My White Waratah painting. This one was a finalist in the Art in the Hills art prize a few years ago. It’s the only flower painting I personally own (all the others have been sold). I’m sad to leave it behind and be without it for the first time. We leave Sydney in one day to start our year long adventure in Central and South America.
