Animators, such as Chuck Jones, constantly strive(d) to create believable characters that “appear to think and make decisions and act of their own volition... [creating] the illusion of life” - The Illusion of Life, 1994.
Omg. Isn't this the truth? I have so many items that I am working on that I need to just finish. I get excited about a project and forget about others. I need to be better about this. #art#artistic#artquotes
The chapels on the sides were built in 1663/4 when the nuns decided to restore the Church. The architect Carlo Fontana was charged with the works so he turned the Church in Baroque style. Every Chapel had an altar and a picture but because of the Napoleonic pillage (XIXth century) the pictures were sold abroad and only 2 returned to their original position. The pictures represented scenes with the Life of Christ and scenes which streesed the greatness of the Augustinian Company.

Santa Marta al Collegio Church was built around 1540's by Ignazio da Loyola. It was a guest House for Prostitutes who wanted to redeem themselfes.Since Ignazio da Loyola was the founder of the Jesuits the Church is strictly connected to the Company. The Church it's also connected to the Augustinian nuns because already around 1560's the Guest house moved to Santa Chiara (near Santa Marta) where the nuns lived so they moved to Santa Marta. The Church was called Santa Maria Delle Grazie by Ignazio but the nuns changed the name to Santa Marta of Betania. The chapels were built later.
