This past weekend was one of the kraziest experiences I’ve had in a long time. Meeting different artists and watching them kreate and share their passion brought so much joy to my heart. I was overwhelmed with excitement and happiness (y’all should’ve seen how cheesy I was all night lol) Knowing our people are out here making a difference and expressing themselves through their art is an unexplainable feeling.
Thanks to my people who came to vibe w/me @mztrinidad32 @queen_i_am_a @trisp @natesoul @mar.iman @praisestothemostfly and many other dope creatives that I met!
Big thanks to @jbrooks20 @trapxart for reaching out & allowing me the opportunity to be a part of a dope and motivating movement. My soul was definitely lifted & recharged. Y’all make sure to follow the movement and support whenever they come to your city. NY is up next! 🔥🙏🏽 #trapxart#artculture#vibes#goodenergy#artists#mobatl#fecussi#cutcreaters#nue#supporteachother
I love Sontag’s, “Happenings: an art of radical juxtaposition”. I am forever drawn to analyses on art culture and its psychological implications, and/or any critiques that aim to deconstruct art, it’s genres, and the art world in general. In my 20’s, I began to read Sontag’s work. Back then, sentences resonated and new concepts triggered excitement, but it wasn’t until later that I was fully able to grasp her work. She remains a woman, writer and thinker I admire, highly, and I continue turn to her essays at different times in my life. #susansontag#againstinterpretationandotheressays#writersiadmire#womenwriters#thinkers#essays#philosophers#intillectuals#artculture
