Za pokojowe wysiłki pozłacaną gałązką palmową uhonorowano m.in. Michaiła Gorbaczowa i Ronalda Reagana, a w ostatnich latach – m.in. Benedykta XVI. W tym roku Złotą Palmę ma otrzymać Władimir Putin.

I’m literally out of BREATH when I try to crop these photos correctly and it’s hard to CONCENTRATE on getting QUALITY photos for this AP Photo portfolio because I’m stressing over the sizing... ahhhh & when the crop cuts out your subject🤔🙄 And I gotta choose 12 photos from 1000+ 😱 Then when I narrow it down I gotta eliminate one of them bc it’s 13/12. Then I don’t know where one of my photos went to go into my breath soooo RIP Good thing I got my girls to help me mitigate my stress level of uploading or feel the pain with me as well LMAO😂 Soon I’ll be printing, that’s a whole other story... Summer break, wya? Can I just graduate already? 😩 1 more month to go!!!! #apphotography#apphoto#Fish#photo

John Lennon, one of the Beatles, and his Japanese girl friend, Yoko Ono, leave car to enter Marylebone court in London on Oct. 19, 1968. They appeared on charges of possessing cannabis, the British name for hashish. The trial was set for late November after the police asked for time to have the seized drugs analyzed.
Happy Hashish day y’all 💚

Tam Le Thi Thanh
Master of International Relations
Vietnam
The Asian Development Bank/Japan Scholarship Program (ADB/JSP)
The University of Sydney is my lovely Aussie Hogwarts, not only because of the Quadrangle, green lawns, large libraries, or Quidditch matches on the campus, but also because the University has turned me into… a wizard! Yes, a wizard!
For the past two years in the “House” of Arts and Social Science, I have had the most meaningful time of my youth. As a school for future “wizard” leaders, Sydney Uni Hogwarts introduced me to a team of senior professors of supreme intelligence and kindness, a world-class education system, and a network of lovely smart friends from all over the world.
Sydney Uni has presented me with the boldest research ideas about policymaking, international security issues, the world systems, globalisation issues, or development solutions for low-income countries. For my Master of International Relations program, I have completed research papers about international organisations in the global financial markets, addressing challenges to global financial governance, and the South-East Asian financial integration, which all relate to my work in Vietnam. In other words, the University of Sydney allowed me to become the best version of myself through the mastery of “academic magic tricks”.
Among all the lovely things in the Land of Kangaroos, Sydney Uni makes it to the top as my most special Australian experience.
As a graduated “wizard”, I am leaving the Aussie Hogwarts with knowledge, maturity, self-confidence, enthusiasm, creativity, and boldness to make changes to the world out there. To my USYD: please remain a beautiful warm home to all future “wizards”!
