What does your Thursday evening look like? Mine looks like this.🌸 I'm exhausted from the first week back from Spring Break, and celebrating the fact that I made it home before dark. I'm skipping dinner (too tired), and going right to dessert and a pot of mint & lime tea, reading, and stitching. I'm using a "new" vintage tea pot, cup and saucer that I got from @mcintyresantiques in Iowa. I fell in love at first sight when I saw the entire set on their Instagram page, and had to have it. Hope your night is as relaxing as I think mine will be.💕 #treatyoself

I’m excited to offer this for sale, a very early forged Peddinghaus, from back before they started drop-forging. Weighing 208 lbs it is an uncommon anvil with a unique profile and the PFP touchmark, which stands for Paul Ferdinand Peddinghaus. Given the fact that this was forged in the traditional German manner of forge welding multiple pieces, this would have been made when Paul Peddinghaus was overseeing operations in the early 1900’s. Note the length of the squared horn. I’ve only had one other forged Peddinghaus and it also had the numeral II beneath the PFP, not sure what it stands for. A very cool anvil. For price/info please send a message. I can ship relatively inexpensively. Have a great Thursday evening 👍.................... #anvil#anvils#blacksmith#blacksmithing#forge#metalwork#tools#handtools#vintagetools#antiques
Large Mid Victorian sideboard. The twin pedestals are fitted with lovely drawers and the carved backboard suggests a religious history. It is not really as orange as the photos show. $1850
We just adopted these superb 1840s American Empire dining chairs in Clarksville, TN. I’ve been on the hunt for a set for years and I stumbled upon these on Facebook earlier this week. Now we’ll start looking for chairs for the heads of the table. #olivest#antiques
