One of my favorite parts of Wales is the stonework and the walls. They all look ancient no matter how old they really are, covered with lichen and moss and plant life growing through the cracks. I’ve heard rumors that they are put up by magical creatures as they tend to spring up fully formed overnight with no trace of how they got there. Amazing! #magicalwales#walls#stonework#moss#lichen#ancient#magicalcreatures#mysterious#beauty
Day 2: Daytrip in Gozo 💜 this is the ruins of Ggantija Temples, a UNESCO world heritage. This pile of stones used to be a temple but for what I understood, it was used for the rituals for the dead. 🤨 the temples had rooms and even door way. Most of it were built using soft limestone. These limestones can be seen throughout the island.
