You could've been going through hell, because of what others have said. Being teased, being mentally abused, your parents said: "you aint shit". Maybe you have a spouse that says to you daily : "you're a good for nothing". Your teacher told you that you were stupid. That shit could've formed you who you are today. But listen to me closely, I said could've formed you. It's not a given that what you've been through, or the opinions of others IS who you really are. If you let the opinions of others effect the way you think about yourself in the worst way, you'll lose sight of who you really are.

For me changing the way I thought about myself was a process. I was effected by the way people thought/said about me. Starting with my environment, growing up poor and being teased at school made me think I was that environment. I stood out, not only because of my height but also because of my ADHD. I was hyper, didn't listen to the teacher and was different then the other kids. Different than others is always a reason for kids to tease. All I wanted was to fit in, just be normal and not be 'so childish'. It took me untill far into my adult life, to fall in love with myself and who I was. Looking at my ADHD and who I was as a blessing. .

Loving yourself is a process and I'm a long way from loving myself completely. The more you love yourself, the more you look inside yourself and appreciate what you have. Loving yourself is the cure against looking at other people for validation. Loving yourself is also the antidote of opinions of others. You may think this of me, but I know who I am and no matter what you're going to say: "I love myself for who I am now". This takes away the power from them and gives it all back to you💪🏻You and only you can shape your destiny, if you believe it. Get inside your mind and start loving yourself and you will be in charge of your own life, your own destiny. 🙏🏼

Jonathan, why do you workout so much? Besides that I love it and it feels good. I do it because it's a huge stress relief (School gives me that allot now 🤣😅). When I workout allot; I feel healthier, have allot more energy and I can think much clearer. I have ADHD and with that comes a big supply of energy. I can use that energy, but there are moments I can't. If you look at my job, working with people who have autism. Boucing around can be helpfull to lighten the mood. But sometimes you have to be quiet, react as neutral as possible. So working out allot, also helps me to clear all that unwanted energy before work. .

Did you know?🤔 That becoming physically strong also makes you mentally strong? When you push the limits of you body, you're actually pushing the boundries in your mind. So do you want to get stronger mentally? GO GET YOUR ASS TO THE GYM!💪🏻

There's a difference between living and being alive. The question I want you to ask yourself daily is: "How alive are you?". How are you living your life? Are you just phasing through it, or are you really living? Are you going to that 0900/1700 job and just getting through the day. Or are you there to make a career, making your collegues feel good by making jokes. Are you coming home and just want to sit on the couch watching tv, hoping your kids or spouse is not to much of a nuisance. Or are you coming home and really want to know how your spouses day was and how ever tired you are, try to place yourself in the world of your kids at that moment.

I've been just living my life for years. I know the feeling of just getting by. At work hoping the day would pass by quickly, not just one day. No I did this day's,weeks and even years. I did this untill I was numb and the worse thing is, I made myself feel that numb. It wasn't my job! It wasn't that I needed that job to pay the mortgage. I let myself believe that was the truth. I couldn't even ask myself the question: "How are you living?". Because in thruth, I was slowly dying. .

When you know the feeling how it is to not live, you don't want that anymore. You start chasing your happiness a bit more. You open your eyes and look at whatever makes you happy. When you've done that long enough, you maybe even dream to follow your goals! A life where you live fulfilled and where you're living happy, will impact not only yourself. It will impact your surroundings and you'll attract what you become. Being negative will attract just that, but truly living will attract the positive inside people. .

So ask yourself this question: "How are you living?". I hope; purposely, passionate, goal oriented and ofcourse happy🙏🏼
