I ran out of my peanut butter quicker than planned 🙈 The plan was to eat no more than 50g per day but it turned out closer to 100g.
✔But I discovered some left over almond flour (some 4kg!) and set out to make my own almond butter.
➡️ First, I put raw almond flour in a food processor for 10 min and to my dissappointment it just turned into a very fine almond flour 😭
➡️ On my second attempt, I decided to dry the almond flour on a frying pan (no oil) until golden
➡️ I put the fried almond flour in a food processor and in 10 min it turned into a smooth paste just like with peanuts
🧚‍♂️ 1 tbsp (25g): net carbs 3.4, fat 11.4g, protein 5.7, cal 136

I just made fresh pumpkin seed butter to dip my gherkins and added almond butter in my rice rolls with cucumber and apple.

Kasze płuczę w cieplej wodzie. Zalewam 
woda i gotuje do miękkości. Studzę i wsypuje do blendera z masłem, mlekiem, syropem. Blenduję do uzyskania gładkiej konsystencji. Dzielę mase na połowę i do jednej dodaje kakao. Mieszam dokładnie łyżka. Nakładam do 2-4 miseczek/kokilek , przyozdabiam i szamię z radością. Boże jakie to pyszne!❤😍 smacznej kolacji życzę!😘❤️

100g millet groats
1.5 glasses of water
150g of butter from roasted almonds-I used today that one / or hazelnut / cashew
350ml of vegetable milk
70g of maple syrup
3 tablespoons of cocoa - to the cocoa part, I used @yoursuperfoods
Additionally:
a handful of nuts for, peanut butter, banana slices

Rinse millet in warm water. 
Add more water and cook until tender. Cool and pour into a blender with nut butter, milk, syrup. Blend to get a smooth consistency. Divide the mass into half and add cocoa to one. Mix with the spoon thoroughly. Serve all, put pudding into 2-4 bowls, decorate and eat😍 God, how delicious it is!  I wish you a nice evening ! 😘❤️

#frühstück 😋 ... nein, nicht jetzt. Ein paar Stündchen ist das sehr wohl schon her. Momentan bin ich wieder ein absoluter Nussmus-Fan. Was die erste Mahlzeit des Tages angeht ist es bei mir eher wenig abwechslungsreich.. es sind eher verschiedene Phasen... mal gibt es monatelang Haferbrei, dann ist mal wieder eine „Müsli-Phase“ und momentan ist es entweder Chiapudding+ einer Joghurtalternative oder eine Smoothiebowl mit Obst und Grünzeug... und diversen Nüssen, Kernen, Quinoapops und Nussmus. 🥑 If you're having scrambled eggs at the weekend, chuck some spinach in the pan and let it wilt and smash half an avocado onto your toast. Bread and 2x veg = more plants. Add some beans for another veg portion.
🍓Too much faffing at breakfast? Top porridge or cereal with fruit and nuts for 3 types of planty foods.
🥜Plant-based snacks include nuts, pitta fingers or veg sticks with hummus, and apple slices spread with nut butter.
🌶️Go veggie or vegan for dinner 1-2 times a week or more if you can. Pulses and tofu make great plant-based protein alternatives and you can spice them up with chilli and coconut oil to make the flavours punchier.

An ideal snack for Elijah (and me!) - medjool dates stuffed with @mayversfood almond butter, quartered grapes and rockmelon🙌
So I wanted to experiment and try make chocolate brownies with ingredients I had and also as few ingredients as possible. They may not be aesthetically pleasing but trust me they were so tasty and the dark chocolate chunks melt in the mouth 🤤 X2 bananas, tablespoon of almond butter, 3 chunks of 70% dark chocolate chopped up and a handful of almonds chopped up. Mix all together and stick in the oven for 15-18 mins at 180 fan. If ya wanting to make it even more chocolatey I had them straight out the oven with hazelnut chocolate alpro ice cream and raspberries 🤪

I’ll often just slice up a banana w/ almond butter and put it on the counter for them to grab as a snack as they want. If you want an extra protein kick, just do peanut butter instead. .

Happy Monday- Last week was my first week of doing #Keto - I’ve cut my net-carbs down to around 20g. I thought I would struggle more than I did, in fact this first week has been the best in terms of energy & motivation. I was missing a crunchy texture so I experimented with some low-carb cookie recipes. Ended up making these almond cookies at only 115 Calories each  and 1 Carb, 9 Fat and 5 protein.  A batch made 20 of them so I’ve prepped enough for the next week & beyond! -

Ich zeige jetzt mal mein Mandelmus, welches ich regelmäßig in meinem Food Processor herstelle. Ich mache es selbst, weil ich so einerseits den Geschmack selbst wählen kann und andererseits spare ich dadurch etwas Geld 💸

Die Zubereitung ist ganz einfach, hier Zutat(en): .
🔹 300 gr Mandeln
🔹Süße

Man kann weißes oder braunes Mandelmus herstellen. Ich mag das braune lieber da es aromatischer ist. Dafür einfach die Mandeln ca 10-15 min bei 150° im Ofen rösten und danach abkühlen lassen. Für weißes Mandelmus einfach blanchierte ungeröstete Mandeln nehmen. Dann die Mandeln im Food Processor mahlen lassen. Der Prozess dauert etwas, aber man muss eigentlich nur 2 Sachen beachten. 
1. Darf die Masse nicht zu warm werden, es kann sonst dazu kommen das sich die Mandeln von ihrem natürlichen Öl trennen. Schmeckt zwar trotzdem, aber sieht nicht so toll aus 😅

2. Beim mixen darauf achten die Masse von den Ränder herunter zu Schaben, sodass alles verarbeitet wird.

Wenn das ganze cremig wird kann je nach Geschmack die Süße (bei mir etwas Xucker) und etwas Geschmack wie zum Beispiel Zimt oder Vanille hinzugegeben werden. Wenn das Mus dadurch zu fest wird einfach etwas geschmolzenes Kokosöl hinzugeben bis zur gewünschten Konsistenz 😋 danach nur noch abfüllen und genießen 😍

I had a few thoughts I wanted to share with you. It seems to me at we are being conditioned think over-processed food is ‘normal’. Before doing some research I thought that all the products I ate were good for me but in reality they contain unnecessary added chemicals. What’s worse is that some of these products are cheaper than their more natural counterparts. Therefore, we are conditioned to buy those cheaper, processed foods and not told about their harmful effects. I am aware that in many ways my lifestyle is cheaper, but some products are also more expensive. It’s also important to remember that a good diet is all about balance and we should not feel bad for occasionally opting for the ‘unhealthy’ products because we cannot sustain this diet if we’re craving them.
