Spring has officially sprung in Canada!!! Time to hit the beach and soak up the sun... or polar bear dive and surf some ice bergs!😂🤣
I had such a good time snowboarding in Banff at the @thrivejuiceco staff retreat! @danicaslattery is so blessed to have such an amazing team working with her and I’m so blessed to have another rad family that I love hanging out with!!! Good Vibes = Good Tribe!
one last weekend in snowy mountains is about to commence — stoked to slide down mountains at uncontrollable speeds and watch some people throw their bodies into a pond. Holler if you’re in big sky this weekend!
It’s Fryeday and this one didn’t survive...
This Hochstadters Family Reserve Straight Rye was made from 16 year 100% rye grain sourced from Alberta Distillers Limited. It drinks a little hot. I’d say hot from baking/rye spice and not the 123.8 proof barrel strength. It’s pretty light in color for being aged in new charred oak for 16 years. It’s got a great rye spice on the front that dominates its vanilla and wood flavors. On the back the spice carries over while the sweet vanilla and oak diminish. It’s dry on the finish with a stone fruit flavor. It was pricey but nowadays any older aged whiskey is. I’ll be picking up another bottle if I see one again!
