#EarthDay is coming to a close ๐. We hope you spent the day being a bit greener! We are passionate software builders, but we also love surfing, hiking, climbing, nature photography, walking with our dogs, lounging in parks, swimming in lakes, traveling the world, and much more. The Earth gives us so much...we must take care of it! ๐ด๐๐ #adVentureDevs
Proof of Survival: of my biking, parenting, Brooklyn directional skills (thank you google maps!) & ability to work those citi bike machines that SEEM really easy yet I still manage to have to re-read the directions like 8 times. ๐ #notanad#butitshouldbe#citibike

Angkor Whaaaaat?!

If you missed our live story, Dave and I attempted sunrise at Angkor Wat. We left our hostel at 4:45am and it was still pitch black when we arrived at around 5:10am. We used the flashlights from our phones to walk along the path, following the lights of the groups in front of us. We set up our spot on the right side of the pond and waited. And waited... And waited. It was a cloudy morning and we eventually realized that we werenโt going to see that pink sunrise; the sky went from black to light grey. We threw in the towel and went and enjoyed a cheap breakfast with Angkor Wat in our view. Had we known sunrise would be a bust, we probably would not have gotten up. Iโm glad we didnโt know however, as it was still a wonderful morning and experience gathering with so many people in anticipation. Weโve still seen the sun rise at Angkorโ๏ธ

Helpful Tip: people do not care that you have a camera/tripod/video recording device set up, they will sit/stand in front of these. We thought we picked a good spot because it was away from the popular choice. In hindsight, the left side of the pond is popular because you donโt have a bunch of other people in your pictures/video. I guess sometimes it is better to take the road more travelled๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
We decided to celebrate #earthday2018 on Mars, forgot about the lack of gravity, then Uggs started levitating back towards earth. Thank you #motherearth for keeping us grounded and our heads in the clouds. Cheers to another year spent in pursuit of your grandeur. โข
