Konon, pulau ini dinamai oleh Raja Maumere. Kojadoi berasal dari dua kata dalam Bahasa Maumere, yaitu “Koja” yang berarti kenari dan “Doi” yang berarti kecil. Kojadoi memiliki jembatan batu karang yang menghubunginya dengan Pulau Besar. Begitu exotis tak heran banyak wisatawan mampir sebelum singgah ke destinasi teluk Maumere lainnya..

I spoke to my Mom on the phone today. She told me I needed to post some photos of me being active. What she doesn’t realize is that I‘m in travel mode. Which is different than fitness mode. Both different than adventure mode. I pondered this on the beach for about a half hour and then it clicked. I’m not just someone who loves to work out, travel and go on adventures. It’s all planned. I workout so I am fit enough to go on adventures that often require travel. Each is important to me in its own right, but at certain times there are parts of each that I dislike and parts that I love. So Mom I may not have a photo of me being active. But I did meet a camel on the beach today. His name was Chewbacca, I scratched him on the nose, he tried to bite me, we parted ways. Still in travel mode, adventure mode to follow soon.
