Ok this picture really isn’t IG worthy I know, but it’s one of the most beautiful messages I have ever laid my eyes on. Last year on this day, I prayed to the Lord that it would be awesome to get a case on my birthday. It was a hurried prayer and I went about my day. Little did I know it would be THE case. I remember opening my email from @thelottofus my consultant with @facadopts and it left me breathless. We had been praying for twin boys, but when I saw twins boy and girl something in my heart just knew these were our babies. Y’all God is in every detail. Tomorrow I’ll share what transpired two days before I got this email. It still blows me away. Thank you Lord. You are good!!! #adoption#adoptionrocks#lovemakesafamily#bestbirthdaygiftever
"When the adoption you’ve been waiting for finally comes to fruition and it happens after you’ve discovered you’re pregnant...your heart explodes with love and joy. 💕 This is so touching." 📷 and story of her client at @ivetteivens

He has been living at the kennel for the last 4 years, nearing 5 years now. that’s almost 1,825 days living at the kennel! His owner had high hopes of getting better from his illness and unfortunately it’s not looking that way so he’s asking for our help. he’s 5/6 years old, fixed, up to date on vaccines, a huge mushball and housebroken. he listens well. all he wants is a comfy spot on the couch or his own personal doggy bed and he’s good to go. he LOVES chest rubs and walks. if you or anyone who knows would be seriously interested in giving him chest rubs for life, PLEASE message me! we want to see him go to a good home! How amazing is this hunky dude is looking!?! 😍🙌🏻 It’s amazing to think this guy was on his way to death’s door just two years ago after being shipped to auction when he became injured performing his job for humans, discarded and unwanted, then purchased by negligent owners to be nearly worked to death. .
Did you know that there are approximately 200,000 unwanted horses in the US at this very moment? And those are just the horses that are in rescues or at auction, that doesn’t even include horses like Cash who are “wanted” but being treated as if they aren’t... OR the horses that are sold from owner to owner, where they most likely will be cared for... but are still being put at risk of ending up in a neglectful or abusive home. — So really, that’s a very conservative number. Out of 9.2 million horses in the US there are AT LEAST 200,000 horses are being sold or abandoned. 200,000 horses looking for a good home through no fault of their own. Most of these horses aren’t even old or injured. Did you know that most horses shipped to slaughter are under 9 years old? One study cites that 114,091 U.S. horses were slaughtered in 2016.... that number doesn’t include horses left to die, horses being held by rescues, and... like I mentioned before.. all the horses for sale by owners or breeders that may or may not end up in a good home. For example, Cash would have been included in those numbers due to the fact that he did indeed have an owner and wasn’t even technically for sale (I had to convince them to sell him to me). All of these unwanted horses... and we are still adding more. There are roughly 280,000 foals born in the US each year... if you think about it.. that means that at LEAST 200,000 of those 80,000 will end up abandoned or neglected at some point in their life. Only 80,000 foals bred each year will live a long well cared for life. Continued 👇🏻👇🏻 (please don’t comment unless you read the rest) #csCash#tweEducational#RightHorse
Have you seen the monument to the unborn victims of abortion at Mt Calvary Catholic Cemetery? It is a beautiful memorial to the babies who never got a chance to live their lives. If you would like to visit, the cemetery is located at 275 U street, SLC, Utah 84103
Someone is happy 😁. Sweet sushi prep lady in Publix took notice of MinKee. It may or may not have been because he screamed "hi' to her, like he does most strangers. 🤣😂 She pointed out the dumplings and said "he wants these". How could I say no to her. She proceeded to ask where he was from and then ran to the back to imerge with special hello Kitty kids chopsticks for him. Certainly made our day. #korean#adoption#yum#goodeats#kindpeoplechangetheworld#mademyday#publix #
But I mean if you don’t have someone like @swimmom2015 who will come over every week, bring you sweets, have tea with you, and invest time discipline you, you’re doing this adoptive mom thing wrong. 🎆
As adoptive mamas, we get put through the ringer day in and day out. We are tired and we DO NOT have it all together. Having someone who is ahead of you in their adoption journey who can come alongside you is not just a good idea, it’s a necessity. And it’s really fun! So there’s that.
I continue my new art project - write my biography (telling the story as a biographer would, or a narrator in a documentary).
Lukasz’s only memory of his maternal grandparents is that his grandmother Teodosia (Polish ‘Teodozja’) was ill (some kind of dementia), and that his mother, and at times he too, visited her in some kind of an institution for people who were unable to take care of themselves. She died early when Lukasz was still a very young boy. Apart from it Lukasz knows nothing about her (what she was like when she wasn’t ill, what she did in life, what kind of a mother she was).
His maternal grandfather Ludwik Lukasz doesn’t even remember (probably never even met). He died before grandmother Teodosia and Lukasz knows absolutely nothing about him, which means that the only difference between his knowledge about his grandfather and his grandmother is knowing that as an older person she was ill and needed 24/7 365 help and care.
Is your pet microchipped? Have you recently moved or changed your phone number? Did you remember to update your information with the chip company? This is a common mistake that people make, and it is a mistake that could separate you from your pet forever. You need to always keep your microchip information up to date so, if your pet is ever lost, you stand the best chance of quickly getting it back home. If this pet was adopted from a rescue organization, you also need to update them because most chip companies can tell who “chipped” the animal and can contact that organization. It is the difference of getting your pet back within minutes, hours, days, or never. #adopt#foster#adoption#adoptdontshop#rescue#rescueofinstagram#pet#animal#petsagram#ilovecats#lovecats#cute#dog#doggo#ilovedogs#lovedogs

Welcome Jerry and Shannon!
This couple lives in Colorado near a beautiful state park. Jerry is an orthodontist and professor at a University and Shannon is pursuing further education while she focuses on her family. They love yearly traditions like trips to southwest Colorado and attending Christmas parades. Both enjoy the outdoors, whether they are going on bike rides or on outings to the zoo.
They believe that family is about loving each other no matter what. Although their families don't live near them, they talk weekly and visit them as often as possible. They can't wait until the day when they can bring a brand new addition to their family to visit.
Jerry and Shannon are committed to providing unconditional love to a child and to teach them the value of family while providing them with every opportunity to succeed. Muchas gracias por el amor y sensibilidad que demostraste a los perritos de nuestro refugio. Nos vemos muy pronto😘
Thank you so much @katemossagency for the love and kindness you gave to the dogs of our shelter. See you soon.
POTCAKES ARE THE BOMB!
Wanted to share something really cool with you. The first part not so great but things have really turned around because of my rescue Zuma.
Sadly, my Jack Russell lost his eyesight but fortunately, my rescue Potcake Zuma quickly learned how to help me care for him.
While at the park, Cooper can often wander too far and can't find his way back. Zuma not only goes to retrieve him for me (in a herding style), she also walks him for me now too. She's become his seeing eye dog.
Here was our very first training moment. Took her 3-4 minutes to understand what her new job was. Cooper, of course, is always happy to go along. He feels more confident and secure now.
